Restaurant La Calma is located in Platja d'Aro's maritime waterfront promenade, with an open-air dining terrace protected by the cold wind, and a chill out area with beachfront views to enjoy cocktails, tapas, full breakfast, in a very relax ambience.
Youâd be hard pressed to do better for the attentive service and the excellent food. Donât go past the lobster rice... deeelish. The Scampi are as fresh as they come. La Calma has an extensive selection of wines. I recommend trying some of their local ecological varieties. The covered outdoor patio with uninterrupted views to the Mediterranean makes for a great setting to enjoy good times. This place is a treasure. Check it out, you wonât go wrong

Restaurant peix marisc.Obert dinar, sopar. Restaunt pescado marisco.Abierto comidas, cenas.
My partner and I tried this Restaurant whilst holidaying in Palamos. The Restaurant was very clean with appealing outside seating. The staff were attentive and could understand my poor Spanish. My partner ordered melon & ham, large exceptional portion, I had Gazpacho, lovely. We both ordered fillet steaks, med rare perfectly cooked, all great value for money including wine.

A lovely start to our holiday in Costa Brava. Warm hospitality, nice ambiance, large tables and good company. We had the jamon, cod with peas and morcilla, and the delicious suquet fish stew made with fresh fish that was presented to us and chosen beforehand. All washed down with a superb Rioja Tondonia that was excellently priced. Ended with their apple crisp which had a decadent amount of cinnamon and spice. Amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone passing through the area.

We welcome you to the Nautilus Restaurant in Sant Antoni de Calonge (Costa Brava), where you will enjoy excellent food and wonderful views overlooking the sea. For 25 years we have not ceased to renew and improve our dishes in order to offer the best to o
A very pleasant beach setting with tables both inside and out. We sat midway but seemed to have perched ourselves on the waiters starting line. They hovered like vultures and tried to rush through every course to get you processed as fast as possible! We would not be deterred having told no less than three of them to buggar off....it worked!Calamari starters were tasty, grilled but battered. The Shell fish platter was nicely presented, served hot but came without any choice of sauces or even rice. Needless to say it was bland! Wines were well priced at â¬14 for a good local Sav Blanc. This one is for the tourists, but English was spoken.

Went here as it had good reviews on trip-advisor. We were not disappointed.Really great salad and Paella. The wine I chose was not available but the manager/owner suggested another. Was a great recommendation. Very much enjoyed our time in this very busy and cosy place. Can not believe that after nearly 20 years in the area I have never been here before.Look forward to the next time.Ha sido un placer para nosotros conocernos . Restaurant of Mediterranean cuisine, its specialties are: the seafood and the grilled fish, the rice dishes to the traditional style casserole and its menus of the Gamba, l'Escamarlà and l'Olla de Peix.
Simon is a very good and modern restaurant located in the promenade of Sant Antoni de Calonge, near Palamós. In fact, the restaurant was remodeled few years ago, and now is very modern. We came here with friends to eat a Prawn Menu (a typical menu in this part of Costa Brava). In the menu, there are the following dishes: anchovies with bread and tomatoes (very good!), prawns (wonderful!) and fideuà (a typical mediterranean dish with noodles and fish, it was in the average). Also, we were in the terrace, so it was not so hot. The staff was a little slow with dishes.A very good place to eat prawns and other local dishes and take a bath in the sea.

We had a meal consisting of the set menu, consisting of appetizers, main dishes and desserts. It was all wonderful. The restaurant served us a small appetizer with olives. We ordered as appetizers fried calamari, and croquetas of chicken and of cheese. Spanish croquetas have a thin crunchy breaded coat over a pasty filling. Both types were savory, and the cheese croquetas were filled with a kind of blue cheese, which kept its distinctive flavor but was not overpowering. Two groups of two diners shared two of the signature dishes at the restaurant: seafood paella, and seafood fideua. Fideua is a dish prepared much like paella, except using inch-long pieces of broken fideos, a fine noodle commonly used is Spain for soups, instead of rice. Both were excellent. I had the chicken, also very good. For desserts, we had chocolate soufflé with raspberry sauce which was not too sweet, just a little tart; sorbet de maracuya (passionfruit) which was also tart, but delicious in taste with a great consistency; mango ice cream, sweet and very creamy with a delicious flavor; requesón (a kind of creamy Spanish cheese) with layers of honey; and crema catalana, which is sort of like a Catalan version of flan with a surface of caramelized sugar, also delicious. All the desserts are house-made. The server was very polite, attentive and engaged, offering suggestions and demurrers as he felt necessary. The woman who served as the maitre d' was also very engaging, and described what were possibly her creations â the restaurant is small, and there were only the two of them in the dining room â lovingly, and made suggestions based on preference expressed. She may have been the owner; I didn't ask. I whole-heartedly recommend it for great food. It cost us â¬170 for 5 fixed-price dinners, a couple of glasses of wine, some soft drinks, a couple of bottles of water.

Restaurant located in the bay of Palamos-Sant Antoni de Calonge (Costa Brava), where seafood is served tradi tional. It's a family restaurant run today by the sons of the founders. His specialties include seafood pescadors. It has a dining room on two lev
We each had starters - Anchovies on bread and fried sardines. The fried sardines were a bit underwhelming in my opinion but my husband loved them. The anchovies were excellent! We shared the lobster paella which was very tasty, nice and hot and had a great texture. I mention the fact that it was hot because when you sit outside to hear, you do not want your food cooling off immediately. The service was also very attentive and friendly. There was only one thing I would have changed - personally,I did not need to see the lobster before they cooked him for our paella and would have preferred to be asked if I wanted to inspect him at our table. My response would have been "No Gracias". It was very nice sitting outside and even though you are sitting next to the pavement where everyone is strolling, you do not feel like you are in the middle of everyone. You can enjoy the surroundings while still feel like you are having a romantic dinner.
