Italy used to be a country for slow food but we are finding increasingly restaurants are ready with your next plate almost as soon as you finish the last. Note to all restaurants 15 minutes after taking you plate away is a good time to bring the next course. You may think its efficient service but we always suspect it been half cooked earlier and its quite nice to relax talk and enjoy the wine. At one time I was left looking at my primi while my wife had to wait another 3 or 4 minutes. Bring them together!Tonight was no different. this is clearly a popular restaurant with lots of waiters and seems to do a good trade in pizzas to eat in and take away. We didnt eat pizza and instead wanted a fuller meal, relaxed with wine. The food was quite good, we ate a big mixed seafood antipasto and mussels, for primi an interesting seafood pasta covered with a pizza base, strange as it sound it was a good idea and a testaroli which was very tasty followed by one main which was a costate served on a sizzle plate, this is not wise as if you dont request another plate you will find it soon become well done as it was not very thick. The waitress neglected to advise us of this even when we asked before it arrived for it to be rare. With a dessert of millefoglie and bottle of vermentino, two coffees and water we paid 100 euro which I thought was quite fair....If only they would slow down their service it could have been a better experience

This is a special restaurant where you can enjoy really fresh fish , served in many different ways . Great famous " raw fish . " They can follow tasty pasta dishes and main courses of fish. The pizzas are special because they are made to the Napoletana wi
In an absolute unattractive industrial environment, mids large ikea-style shopping centers and overbusy highways and crossings, lies this rather small restaurant. Being a guest in the (also good) Best Western hotel almost next door, we decided to give it a try. The service was fast and friendly in a nicely âmarineâ decorated atmosphere as this is mainly a fish oriented place. We had a fantastic trio of tartars (tuna, shrimp, salmon). Main course were tuna, squid and a pizza. Everything was really nicely presented, top class! Good wines and everything was even fairly priced. The next day we came back, and happy again. So, definitely a place that I recommend!

This is a nice family restaurant where the staff seems to know their guests and care about them. In July we dined there twice, quite late due to travelling. It was a wonderful experience, and the food was simple and delicious. An inexpensive not least. It's not a gourmet restaurant, just a plain but lovely family restaurant, and return again and again.

In a corner along the canals in Milan, there is this restaurant with Italian cuisine by the warm and welcoming. "Principe dei navigli" offers Mediterranean cuisine, the inevitable fish dishes, meat. A wide selection of fine wines and fine.
We arrived without a reservation but there was no problem in getting a table for 2. Had we been a little bit later that may not have been the case as the restaurant quickly filled with happy diners. We were asked immediately on sitting down whether we wanted still or sparkling water and when it came they also brought a small glass of prosecco on the house. We were then brought a complimentary starter once we'd ordered our meal - luckily we knew from previous reviews so hadn't opted for a starter ourselves when we ordered. What came was puffed up little pizza calzone cases served with prosciutto and cheese shavings - not for us as we don't eat meat, they didn't bat an eyelid and shortly after replaced that with the vegetarian option of rocket, tomato and shaved cheese on a pizza base (as light as a feather!). We both had opted for a seafood linguine dish that was served piping hot with lots of seafood and tasted delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly - as you'd expect. I couldn't manage dessert after that but hubby had the chocolate cheesecake. In the interests of giving an accurate review (honest!!)..I did taste said item and it was light and delicious. We'd opted for the house white and were very happy with what was served. Service was prompt and friendly and the waiters spoke English had we needed it. All in all an excellent meal. The restaurant is slightly out of the way and I suspect not too many tourists will make it that far down the canal, but I can only say we were very glad we did and we will definitely return. Amazing value. Highly recommended.

Suggested for group of people as space is wide with large tables. We had: Sangria, tapas, and mixed Paella + dessert. Very reasonable price : 25⬠x person.SUGGESTION: - Sangria is very tasty- book your space as it is often full- Avoid the table on the left too close to the air conditioning machineThank you very much for your opinion, see you soon :)hasta la proxima!

A friend recommended this restaurant when we wanted to have a typical Italian Sunday lunch. We passed outside and thought it was a house so we kept looking for it! It's an old house now transformed into a restaurant. It has a small garden and if the weather is nice this is where you should sit, it's pretty and inside it is very crowded with all the Italian families meeting for their Sunday lunch! Th service was fast and efficient and the food very tasty. We chose antipasti from the central table, not all were good. But the main dish was excellent. We got the "tagliata" , that is barbecued beef cut in slices and served over a salad. The quantity and quality of the plate is worth all the visit to this restaurant .

LUME, the restaurant run by the Chef Luigi Taglienti, is passionately committed to serving an innovative cuisine that harmoniously and skilfully combines experience of classic and contemporary cooking, with strong ties to the local area and a constant sea
An elegant restaurant, all white, in a slightly unusual location - a former industrial yard. The food is incredibly delicate and balanced, with first rate ingredients carefully and thoughtfully prepared, innovative but in the true Italian style (i.e. without overpowering sauces or 15 different items on your plate that you need a guide to explain). I don't think I've ever eaten a better risotto or a more delicately prepared shrimp. There is an open kitchen so you can observe the crew at work, with the chef calmly directing and supervising the choreography. A memorable experience we will definitely want to repeat next time around.

I went to Bacco e Arianna for a business dinner. On the west side of Milan (Trezzano S.N.), it is a small and cozy place. Food quality and presentation at the top. Wine selection limited although at reasonable price. Overall price a bit more than market level. Main dish (secondo piatto) in average 25 â¬.

What a wonderful restaurant. The food is sublime. The prawn (gamberi) starter was especially outstanding. The service is warm and friendly and helpful. But the food... wow. We had the octopus as a main and it was delightful. For dessert a kind of deconstructed Sicilian cannoli without pastry. It was delicious. A fabulous meal with great friendly service and a reasonable price. Highly recommended. Do try the digestive liqueur as suggested by the waiter.

Very high quality all you can eat, with solid and very tasty, fresh and nicely served vegan options. Loads to pick from. One of the better sushi experiences I have had since I was vegan. I had one issue with the place, though I feel it is not worth losing a star over: the waiters drop the food on the table without explaining what it is and without even saying a word and rush off. Kind of rude and annoying with their attitude. Other than that? SOLID!
