Today I tried this restaurant for the first time. The lunch menu Monday to Friday is of great valu 6 euro for a very generous plate of pasta or risotto. We also ordered a selection of local cheese that came with a just out of the oven crispy focaccia they also served us warm home made bread. All their dishes are made with local product KM 0. They also have a quite good wine and beer selection. Great service.

Just popped into the centre of Stradella and found this very discrete bar. Well what a surprise ! We took advantage of the exceptionally well prices burger menu.A quite exquisite steak tartar burger with an excellent glass of red negramaro matched by a raw fish burger followed by home made tortino fondant chocolate. If you are within an hour of this place its worth making a diversion. Great service and very friendly staff. Highly Recommended

I write this comment in English hoping to encourage some foreigners to visit Broni and the surroundings. This non-advertised area (Oltrepo') is a great one for biking (famous world champion Fausto Coppi was born nearby), trekking in nature, discovering nice castles and tasting great food and wine.We stopped in Broni during a long trip, for a quick lunch, and selected il Centro by chance,A good choice. A very honest place, very good pizza, for a super reasonale price. Other local people were having the 2-course menu with primo and secondo. This is the typical simple Italian restaurant, family run, informal, no frills, all substance. We had pizza and beverages in 3 for 30 euros.Good place.

This Restaurang should not call itself Japanese. We visited for dinner and were very hungry and not hard to please. I ordered California rolls and my husband fresh tuna and a large sushi. The rolls were first of all 90% rice, hardly any shrimp. And what made it really discusting was that the rice was warm and made the avocado warmed up aswell. The tiny pieces of what might have been shrimp had a smell of catfood. Everyone that has tried sushi know that if Its fresh it does not have any smell at all.The big sushi was the same way. Warm rice and pieces of salomon that also was warmed up from the rice. The sliced tuna was thick and marinated in vinegar. Non of the dishes, when served reminded of the way they looked in the menue. We give this review to hopefully rescue some people from a really bad sushi experience. The Chinese style might be their thing, and that might be why they got such high scores from others. Do not go here for sushi!

Nice place where we had a simple lunch. Had the menu of the day which had 3 choices for starter and mains and then dessert. Menu cost was 15 euro. Choose the Risotto with salmon bits, nice plate, tasty and for starter big. Then a mix of grilled fish, with nice sauce to the side, after the big starter you do not need more. Was quite full skipped the dessert and just closed with a great expresso. Along a glass of local pino grizzio.

We had a lovely dinner, our waitress was very nice and very helpful..\For our appetisers we had the Salmon Tartare and the Gamberi, everything was fresh and delicious. As a main we had Straccetti with Rucola and Cherry Tomatoes with shavings of Pecorino and the Ravioli with Bufalina and tomatoes. The food was served without too much waiting time and everything was fresh and tasty. Our dessert was a triple layer of a cream custard with chocolate fruit and cinnamon, was very difficult to finish as it was a big portion but absolutely worth the try!!

Delightful little restaurant tucked away in Stradella. What a great addition to eating out in this town. The ambience is just lovely with painted pale green stencilled walls & crisp White tablecloths. There are different areas to eat both inside and out, weather permitting. On the outside it has a lovely little terrace and romantic small courtyard. The owner to this new restaurant is a delightful lady whom we have known before from another smart restaurant in the area, so she knows how to do everything well. We were in a party of six and had different starters and mains. The philosophy she has is good core ingredients served in a beautiful, but simple way. We were given a pre starter in gorgeous little bowls, a potato soup with a swirl of creamy cheese on top, lovely. Three of us had the delicious scallops. Two others had the Orata ..sea bream thinly sliced suchi style fish. Another had Foie Gras and the other one had Egg crocante. All of which were absolutely wonderful. The main courses we ate were branzino ..sea bass, baccala.... Salt cod cooked in a tempura, duck breast with plums, and three Filletto di Manzo ...fillet steak which had been cooked with a tasty crust around it. One was served without the crust, so as to be gluten free. Every dish was very good. The steaks were like butter they were so soft. All were served on the most beautiful white porcelain platters. Presentation perfect. For deserts two had the selection plates, two others had the sorbets and two the best creme brûlée we have ever eaten!! Exceptional....!!! We will definitely put this delightful restaurant on our list of must go to's when in Italy!
