Bristol is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, 23 miles (37 km) northeast of Center City Philadelphia, opposite Burlington, New Jersey on the Delaware River. Bristol was first incorporated in 1720. After 1834, the town became very important to the development of the American Industrial Revolution as the terminus city of the Delaware Canal providing greater Philadelphia with the days High Tech Anthracite fuels from the Lehigh Canal via Easton. The canal and a short trip on the Delaware also gave the town access to the mineral resources available in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York via each of the Morris Canal, the Delaware and Hudson Canal, and the Delaware and Raritan Canal, and connected the community to those markets and trade from New York City. These were among the factors spurring development of Bristol and nearby towns, explaining in part the industries which developed in the region.

Been coming here for years. Food has changed, not as good anymore, but still a decent meal. Not sure if itâs chef or recipes that are different. Usually come after work for happy hour and stay for dinner.

Traveling through after leaving Trenton, this was recommended by a local and seeing itâs easy access from interstate,it was an easy choice.I ordered a burger and fries, steaks looked good, but pricey for a travel meal. After a steak sub style egg roll appetizer that were the standout, the burger arrived and it was okay.Nothing special, but those egg rolls were awesome. They moved so fast,I had no time to take a picture.ThoughtsofRS, thanks for the very nice review. I'm very happy to hear that you found us & that you loved the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls but we normally get rave reviews on our burgers. Please don't hesitate to let a manager know if you don't love something when you come to JBD's. You should expect everything to be great when you walk through our doors. We look forward to your next visit. Sincerely, Pete DiCarlo. Director of Operations/Owner.

Food is a very important part of the italian culture and varies greatly from region to region. While I have been heavily influenced by the cultures of Sicily, Arosso's menu is not limited. At Arosso we pride ourselves on our ability to make your every occ
It is HOT inside. Not quite as hot as it was outside today, Father's Day, 2018. We asked them to turn up the air conditioning, they did a little, but, I was sweating as I ate. I had Shrimp Scampi which was absolutely delicious. Had eaten there before and it was hot inside then. Don't expect anything fancy, ceiling tiles are warped and askew, there's an air duct hose just hanging there, it's an old building that could use some rehab inside. The wait staff was very good and friendly. No complaints other than the temperature. My dad enjoyed his meal, that's what's really important.

We visit Blue Claw when my mom comes to visit. The crabs are delicious and the service is hospitable. On this visit, we showed up without a reservation and were seated within ten minutes of having everyone in our party arrive. We ordered 3lbs of the King Crab legs and got our New England clam chowder immediately. It was served with oyster crackers and horseradish. The chowder was divine-thick and creamy and flavorful. We ordered the crabs without any seasoning and we got 5 legs for the 3lbs. The shells were actually a bit rubbery so they were not able to be broken with our hands; we had to ask for a mallet and scissors. Usually, rubbery shells means they have been cooked too long. The crab tasted fine but for $125, I would have expected them to taste out of this world. We should have gone with the snow crab for $50 less.We also go fried mushrooms which came to the table super hot and served with a creamy horseradish sauce, which was good. The service was attentive and the bathroom wasn't totally disgusting. Overall, a very good experience and I know I'll be back the next time my mom comes to town.

We celebrated Valentine's Day at Jule's @ Market. We had never been there before. Our welcome was luke-warm. We were pointed to our table, rather than shown to our table. Seating was cramped. The tables were very close together with very little wiggle room between them. There was no privacy or intimacy. The seats were hard with no padding. We started off by sharing an appetizer - avocado toast - which was good - although, the shrimp had very little flavor & avocado was the dominant flavor. We then shared a beet salad - which was delicious. For our entrees - Hubby had the halibut - I had the beef tenderloin - and, we ordered 2 sides - garlic smashed potatoes & snap peas. My tenderloin was served to me in bite size slices/pieces - like I was a toddler who needed my meat cut up for me! I'm assuming, the chef took the liberty of doing this, because I had ordered it well-done. It was beyond weird & it was NOT appreciated, at all.We shared a dessert which they called Bananas Singapore - it was ok. It was either that or berries - which we often have at home.

I've been going here for about fifty years. It hasn't changed it's decor much. They still use paper table covers. The food is very good and reasonable. I can't have shellfish anymore so I have flounder. My husband loves their lunchtime seafood platter. It has a very good assortment and is very filling.
