New England Lobster Market & Eatery is an authentic east coast seafood experience in the San Francisco area. We started in the wholesale business delivering quality seafood at a great value and took that experience to serve customers at our restaurant. Wh
Spent 2 nights in San Fran and visited here on both nights, we loved the lobster chowder and sampler platter. We tried the lobster tacos but felt the portion was small . It can be difficult to find it is about 10 min walk from the Aloft hotel. if you are not familiar with the area I would suggest getting an uber, we visited later at night and it wasn't as busy as lunch time. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable definately give it a try if you are staying at the airport .The lobster chowder is always a great choice, Teresa, and we're delighted to see that you loved it! Thank you for your kind words, and we hope to see you back for more again soon. Have a great day,Danny Rosa, Manager

Grand Palace is a dim sum and seafood restaurant located in the heart of downtown South San Francisco. We are conveniently located in proximity to SFO, and Caltrain stations.
My friend and I stopped in for a Dim Sum lunch. Restaurant was not crowed when we arrived and we were seated quickly. Largest dim sum selection I have every seen. No steam cart - one just orders off a menu. One peeve.... as the only non-Asian guests in the restaurant, service was not outstanding. Other Asian guests arriving much later than us were served more quickly and with a smile. Food was quite good - and we ordered 8 different small plates. Price was $44 w/o tip.

Thoroughly enjoyed Chirashi dinner at Amami last week. Fish was exceptionally fresh, presentation and taste were excellent. We also ordered one of the more artistic rolls, all dishes were outstanding.

Came here for New Yearâs Eve for a low-key dinner, and the food and service were good. Clams and Dungeness crab were both excellent. Server was prompt, food came out quickly. The decor is like going back in time, which has a certain charm. Thank you for the fantastic rating, Nicholas! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your meal with us! This tiny gem is tucked away in the Castro district, a short walk from the theater. The neighborhood almost defines San Francisco's inclusiveness and it seemed we had escaped a cross between New York and Disneyland to find real people living real lives. Arrive and write your name on the chalkboard immediately. Waits can be long, but if you're willing to sit at the counter, you won't starve before you're seated.>>>> The menu is "focussed" but inclues a classic cioppino and several fresh fish dishes. We had the Dungenous crab, it was good, but we were there in the last weeks of the season and we're betting it would have been better during the winter. The chowder-- included with the crab-- was to die for. We've spent lots of time in Boston, and this version would make a chowderhead proud.>>> Beer is drawn from four taps, but they're pretty well selected to be sure that you'll have something you like and they acompany the seafood nicely. Wine, of course, flows easily as well. ---Bob & Ellie Tupper, authors, âDrinking In the Culture, Tuppersâ Guide to Exploring Great Beers in Europe.â

This is an extremely small place but I did not feel cramped or rushed. This place is packed but they seem to time things right as we only waited a couple of minutes for our table even after changing our reservation at the last minute. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The food just outstanding and the owners were delightful. It is one of the few restaurants that actually use real olive oil and it was excellent California EVOO. The wines were also excellent. Canât wait to return.
