In one word nothing to add, they bring it to perfection. The couple managing the restaurant is really nice and warm. The service is great, the food is awesome and the decorations are great. The toilets are clean and hygienic and the cocktails are awesome as well. We loved it soo much that we went back there twice more during our trip to discover the other dishes.

Walking along and saw the two chef laying the fresh fish out on display. Enquired as to availability for a table for 7 and secure a booking at 7. As we sat through our meal the restaurant became increasingly busy. Our table ordered the prawn starter and fish soup, both of these proved to be delicious. We then had a mixture of fish from the daily menu, which we translated with the help of google. Again all the plates were cleaned up, the fish proved to be both fresh and delicious.Hello !Thank you for your feedback about your lunch with us. It looks like you enjoyed it and we're really happy. See you soon !

This has a somewhat eclectic menu with , tataki, poke bowls and burgers etc but in a sense that means thereâs probably something youâd like on the list. 13 euros for a burger is a little on the plus cher side but then it was chicken coated in âcornflakesâ and with a delicious sauce and accompanied by some of the best sweet potato fries Iâve ever had. They came in a grease proof bag but thatâs ok as rather than being a poncey affectation, it actually helped. A very good cafe gourmand for 7 euros and a decent glass of rose for 3.20 euros were good value. The staff were amused by my efforts at French and there are a few tables outside but itâs a small place so booking is a good idea. If they look full, there is another room up stairs.

Restaurant traditionnel entièrement vue sur mer. Spécialisé poissons et fruits de mer. Cuisine fait maison (hors pain, glaces, frites)
We arrived here at 1:45 and were seated quickly. As it was so late they were keen to take our order but were polite with the request. There is a good value childrenâs menu for â¬11.50 including a drink. The restaurant was busy on a Friday lunch time indicating good value. We had the tuna and sardine rillettes which were lovely followed by the skate wing which was sublime. Really fresh and well cooked. We were the last to leave but didnât fee pestered. A lovely lunch.

Table of 8 and everybody happy with their food - children's meal was excellent, oysters amazing, mussels in both curry sauce and creme sauce were wonderful. Set menus were good value and the chocolate fondant pudding incredible. It is worth trying the local aperitif of trouspinette

Six of us went for lunch at L'etelle. The restaurant is situated opposite the church in the pretty village of L'Ile D'Olonne and is tastefully decorated with old implements from the local salt producing industry. We all chose the Plat du Jour, 12.50 Euros for 3 courses, a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 2 desserts with 1/4 Ltr of wine included - what tasty food and what terrific value for money. The service was excellent. Definitely high up on our list for a return visit (or two!). Highly recommended.

We chose this over other places due to the positive reviews but a 2 course lunch for us and the baby took about 2 hours with the first 15 minutes waiting for the offer of a menu, a drink, anything really. The waitress was conscious that things were taking too long, she was super busy. The lady in charge seemed far less concerned. They were friendly and helpful enough when they were attending to people, including us and the food was quite good. It's a short, formule menu. It was a shame the high chair seemed to be missing a part and the baby's plate was full sized so it wouldn't fit on his table. Very little shade outside too; not a problem for me but it's something else to think about.

It is one of the most remote bar in this area, but if you want a nice place to enjoy the sunset, that's where you have to go!
