Great place to relax, feel the wind breeze, enjoy delicious meals, and hear the sound of the waterfall. None of the pictures here can explain how comfy the restaurant was, I was personally amazed with the atmosphere of Gurih 7 when I first came there; not sure if my pictures here will do too. Of course I think it is mostly because the spot where I ate was I think the best there, just in front of the waterfall above the large fish pond; scouted several spots there but you just can't feel the same atmosphere.The meals were not outstanding but some are really delicious like the "udang bakar madu", "ayam bekakak goreng", and "sate maranggi". Price wise it's in the mid range, I say a single person could spend 100k IDR to eat. But again, I think the key to eat here is to find the best spot. Make your booking instead of coming directly to the restaurant, otherwise you will be on a waiting list and you won't have the optimum experience of what Gurih 7 has to offer.

We drive from jakarta just to escape and explore local with Sundanese style, we found the rumah air! Location is a bit hidden, near jungle land bogor botanical garden. Pondok (small house in the water) are set up nicely. There is function room as well who can accomade for wedding or any other events. Food was average, nothing special, service was good however beverage was tasteless totally below average. The place got many activities for kids such as water ball, motorcyle etc, parents are no need to worries and can be an option for kids entertainment while parents having their meals! Price wise was a bit expensive compare to the taste, how ever they might sell for the view and activities Its good to try and can be as a venues to escape for halfday from jakarta rush!

We arrived at Dulang after a wet and rainy morning at Taman Safari Indonesia. From the outside, it looked like a pricey place. But to our surprise, the pricing for the food was very reasonable. As you enter the restaurant, it gives you a very relaxed, ethnic vibe. Lots of beautiful plants, a pond, and the sound of the waterfall and river gushing. You can choose to sit at the pavilion (you'll be sitting on a mat), or you can choose to sit where they have tables and chairs. We sat at the pavilion (of course!) and looked through the menu. With the help of Google, we figured out what we wanted and went with Nasi Liwet and Sup Buntut (see picture.) And our friends got Nasi Timbel and the egg-wrapped rice. Our meals were beautifully presented and taste equally satisfying. The soup was slightly salty, but if you have it with rice, it's perfect. Meat was nice and tender. The rice set was nice. The husband was very satisfied. :) After our very enjoyable meal, we wanted to pay the bill. Since the restaurant area is quite huge, they cleverly made a giant chime/buzzer using bamboo and a stick. Give it a good knock and the waiter will come right away.We walked around the grounds and took some photos near the river. There are also swings and some playground amenities. Kids will love it. (we sure did!) We left Dulang with a happy stomach and an even happier heart. Recommended.
