When your host, who has lived near this restaurant for perhaps 50 years, says itâs outstanding, well, it must be pretty darn good. And it was. The fish choices are expensive, and everything we ordered was very good. The problem was that I ate too much so by the time the langostinos came, I was tapped out. But I am told that this dish is unique, and very special. It looked like it.Next time I go to Higuera Blanca, Iâll eat less and save room to try...more.Thanks Dukesteer, we are waiting for you soon.

This place looks like end old house by the river, it is not particularly good looking but the food is good. Following Zamora street you will fin another seafood restaurant called "El Canda" which I like better.

Even when the place needs some improvement the food makes you forget it. Every single dish was perfect in taste and size. this place is a must when visiting Veracruz. The Chef is from Sinaloa and he has merged somehow the recipes resulting in a great fusion.Tip - Ask for "Pescado Sarandeado" and that special red hot source at side.

I just came back from 19 days in Veracruz and on the third night while walking on the beach we found the Villa Rica restaurant. It looked so interesting with the thatched roof and open air atmosphere overlooking the ocean we went in. Of course being Xmas it was all lit up. Unfortunately, the menu was in Spanish and very few people speak English in this area, but we managed. I had the grilled salmon on three occasions and really recommend it. The best Iâve ever tasted. The service was excellent and so were the margaritas. Highly recommend you visit the Villa Rica.Hi! Thanks for your comments and your visit, we hope to see you soon!

Dont let the name Gaucho Restaurant fool you is one of the restaurant the best Mexican food in the are. Yhey have gorditas , tacos, mole, tostaditas well everything you can imagine bery good and good prices you will not believe how good of the prices are there. I recommend it.

The flavor of the restaurant was really good and the service excellent. You get to eat here with around 220 pesos. The price of the beer is 35 pesos. I would surely come back again. The food is excellent for the price.

Nice restaurant which offers regional food. Coffee is excellent..The best point is the view, direct to the sea.Food is standard and portions are adequate. Variety of menu is good.Prices are not high and you can spend good time with family. Ideal for breakfast.In few words: a restaurant with good food at fare price with nice view.The points to improve is cleanliness in general.You may have troubles to find parking during weekends.

Went here on the first night in veracruz. Food was tasty. Music was good. Server Luis Maldonado was very patient and helpful explaining the different foods on the menu. After 4 years of not visiting Veracruz, I read some negative comments about this restaurant. I'm glad I still decided to come here again. I love it!!! We asked this time "Pulpo con pure de camote", "Ceviche coco mango", "Platano relleno de mariscos", "Tarta de elote", "Ensalada de mariscos", "Cerveza Sur". 2 people $850 mxp.
