Friendly waitress with a lovely smile. Slightly stand offish but attentive waiter. Steak excellent. Veggie dish deep fried and not what I expected or would have chosen. No choice of House wine offered so just asked for white dry wine and took three attempts to get a decent choice but had to pay for first two glasses even though I had not specifically asked for those. All in all a good experience but a bit more hospitality would have made it 5 star!

The annual Ladies Dinner of my gentleman's discussion group was held in Restaurant Vandeijck. The old farm building has been tastefully transformed into a classy eating space. The multi-course culinary dinner with appropriate wines was of high quality. The portion sizes were rather small but for a group with an average age above seventy this was probably the right strategy. (Personally I left with a feeling that I could eat the dinner again!) The service was excellent.

On a week day, after having worked in the Hague, we wanted to have dinner not too far from home. We heard of this restaurant and opted for dinner there. It was very busy inside and outside and we opted for a table on the terrace. We had a curry soup and a brie cheese salad as entrees and chose scampi's and claresse fillet (fish) for our man course. They offered a nice rueda wine for the special price of E 18,50 per bottle. All in all everything was very tasteful and we enjoyed the wine very much as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful and although it was very busy, we did not have to wait long between courses.

Due to the location of the hotel this is the most convenient place to eat when staying at the hotel. Fortunately the food is good and the service friendly. Worth staying in rather than trying to find other options. The restaurant has a good atmosphere.

Visiting this place with some relatives. It is one of the many restaurant and cafés you can find around Eersels "Markt" and they are offering a nice, small selection of food. The place has this special Dutch cosines and inside it is rather big. While we were visiting it was not so crowded, so noise levels were perfect to have a conversation. The staff is very young and attentive, drinks and food were served in time. The food is very nice and was tasting well. Maybe the portions are a bit big, we had more than enough to eat. It was a nice evening out. Prices were average, for Dutch standards.Feel free to try the other establishments around the "Markt" as well to find out which one suits you, I was happy to have dinner at "Veertien".

As a celebration my spouse booked this lovely restaurant with just few couverts -which makes it intimate-. Young staff in a traditional old farm with heavy beams gives a very contemporary excitement. Presentation of the courses, combined with exquisite quality and nice wine tasting makes Prikkelz a reco. No hassle in deciding what to eat and drink- go for the recommended menu.

On my way to Eindhoven I stopped here for dinner with my partner several days ago.The setting is fantastic and architecture amazing, but to my humble opinion the food did not reflect the quality of the surroundings. My wife had the tarte tatin with chicoree and I had a piece of beef. The tarte tatin had nothing to do with an upside down caramelised tart , it was soggy, certainly not sweet and you had 2 halves of this lovely vegetables placed on a piece of pastry, with the bitter middlepiece not even cut out . The pastry was served on green runnerbeans, O.M.G. logic that it was not crispy and pleasant.I wanted to order my steak rare but the waiting team member was not aware what this meant so I kept it to medium, did not want to discuss, too tired.I had the same vegetables has my wife and truly think that is not good enough for the prices that they charge, the sauce of "shallots" was tasteless and boring. Conclusion: Great setting, friendly enough associates, disappointing food. Wished I drove on to Eindhoven, will do next time!

Promessa is situated in a lovely small Dutch town which is well worth a longer visit than our 15 hours! This restaurant has a lot of competition and choice close by, however we booked based on Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. The restaurant side was not open on the Thursday night we were in town, however the Foodbar offered excellent choice and quality of food, alongside reasonably priced wines and very good and timely service. I tried the distinctively tasting local boar and my wife tried the sole. We then fought over the delightful chocolate, chocolate, chocolate- a must which came with wonderful homemade mint sorbet. We will certainly be returning when in the area.

We've visited this restaurant with a group of 20 persons. Using the EASY concept, which means ordering "small" bites from more than 30 dishes. About 12 starters, 8 maincourses, served with bread-butter /starters and French fries -croquettes with mains.Desserts were 6 (delicious) options. Staff really freindly and FAST.Good atmosphere, nicely decorated, wonderful smelling handsoap on toilet :)Would love to go again.

We found this a very interesting and intriguing concept. Italian cooking with a fusion twist. Different than what you would expect from Italian cuisine, this restaurant combines with surprising results and flavors. Dishes look like pieces of art. Very different from pizza or pasta. Autumn ingredients, were combined, with Italian traditions. For kids they have a fun idea, just asking what they like and they prepare accordingly. I will call this a posh place, for fine dining. But families are welcome and will enjoy it also.
