These guys are the best! Just your local sub shop that makes you feel welcome. The chicken salad is really good and there chicken kabob salad I would say is one of there best sellers. Sometimes they can be a little slow, but they make good conversation while you wait!

We were here with part of a wedding party the day after the wedding. We had just finished breakfast, so we weren't really hungry, but I ordered a cider and my husband got a drink. We were outside and the people in our party were going and coming, so I'm sure we weren't a favorite, but drinks took a LONG time to come out. By the time we got them, I was getting a little hungry, so I ordered some fries and my husband got nachos. Food took awhile as well. Nothing was wrong with our experience really, it just wasn't super memorable.

We were looking for something new and saw their menu on the sidewalk while walking to another spot. We stopped in and are SO glad we did! Fun decor, cocktails and menu! My partner loved his blackberry smash and my Mai Tai was intense, in a good way! We started with the deviled eggs of the day which had broccoli and cheese. Yummy. They came with a salad that had a tangy dressing with liquid smoke adding a great flavor. My partner had the porky burger which was pulled pork and slaw and was HUGe! Mixture of sweet potato and regular fried which he shared with me. The sweet potato fries melted in my mouth. Incredible. I ordered the Kalua Pig which had the same yummy pulled pork but the best pineapple rice since I went to Hawaii! The green been and pea mixture was suburb. Our server, John, made the experience the best, patient with all our questions and recommendations for what he thought was best for us newbies.

I like that this fancy pub-style restaurant accepts reservations and is close to the Cabot Theater, which is why my husband and I recently chose it for a pre-concert dinner. The hostess was very welcoming and seated us immediately. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and professional. We received 5 star service! We started with the mushroom croquettes followed by the flatiron steak and pommes frites, and the salmon with coconut risotto, pea greens and passionfruit sauce. Everything tasted very fresh and was clearly prepared with high end ingredients. My only complaint is that all the dishes we ordered, except the pommes frites, needed a little more spices as they were a bit bland. The chocolate cake for dessert was delicious and big enough to share.

We are a local dive bar that secretly has class. Great food, great service all served in a very casual atmosphere with absolutely no pretense. We're a little place with a big heart. The Shanty has been serving the Good People of Salem for 30 years and is a
The best Connecticut style lobster roll I've had anywhere, but I recommend ordering it to go. The wait service was terribly slow. I had to ask for our check twice and then after waiting another ten minutes finally had to go hunt down a member of the wait staff to get it so we could pay and leave.

We stopped by mid-afternoon, so the restaurant wasnât very busy and staff seemed to be taking a break. The location is great along the waterfront, and the menu with a very good selection.Ordering didnât take too long, but receiving our food and ultimately paying the bill took numerous requests to other servers to help us. The food was very good and ample.

Seafood Waterfront Casual Dining, Full service Restaurant & Oyster Bar. Featuring Outside Dining, Water Views, Outside Bar, Fresh Seafood & Grilled items.
We sat on the patio, in the sun, with a view of the water. I had the Hot for Teacher and the Old Fashioned cocktails and both were really good. I got the half pound steamed crab with butter. Sooo good! My dad had lobster Mac and we shared apple cobbler. Service was great. Especially when my 2nd Old Fashioned was not good like the 1st one and he took it off the bill.

When we feel like eating the best seafood, as in lobsters, steamers, king crabs, oysters and clams, we end up going to our favorite place over the bridge, the Anchor! Seafood is always fresh, but they also have steak tips to die for! For some, it is a dive, the bar is always busy but because they have a small kitchen, the wait for food is longer than any other restaurant, however, the long wait is all worth it!!! The staff is always attentive!
