I took advantage of a business trip to visit Honfleur. LâEscale was recommended to me by a French colleague so I went for dinner. It was amazing! Floriente and the owner Jerome served the entire restaurant all night and did an amazing job!! I have not seen such impressive service in France. The oysters of Normandy were great. Followed by sea bass which also was great! The dessert recommended was the fruit plate...normally not my choice. Also great! I will come back to this very unique town and no doubt eat at LâEscale!!

Located in the heart of the historic district of Honfleur, on Place Saint-Catherine, Côté Resto welcomes you in a charming and friendly setting. The typically Norman decoration with its exposed stone walls and half-timberings will immediately put you in a

We came here for dinner on a Sunday night.Restaurant was busy so we sat upstairs. Nice table beside window.Pleasant and attentive waitress.Beautiful salads - gizzard and a goats cheese one.We had steaks for main course - very good. My husband had the oysters which were small and disappointing.Reasonably priced wine.Enjoyable evening.

We ate here twice in three days. I think this is one of the better priced restaurants with very friendly and helpful staff. The food was perfectly cooked and well presented. Would eat there now if I could. We are glad that you had a good time in our restaurant. Thank you for coming, hope to see you soon!

We ate at Le Bistro du Port at the recommendation of the agent at our hotel and we weren't disappointed. They didn't open until 6:30 or 7:00 and we didn't have a reservation so we were lucky to get in but we were there right when they opened and thankfully got a table. Within a half hour it was totally full so it would be wise to have a reservation. It looked like a large tour group was eating there which may have accounted for the crowd. We went for one of the Prix Fixe Menus which had an appetizer selection of two different kinds of snails and some oysters and I had the chicken dish dish as my main course all of which were plentiful and delicious. The dessert was especially outstanding. It was called a Floating Island and I highly recommend it. Even though they were really busy they kept and eye on our table and the service was really good. Thankfully we chose a table in the back which was a smaller room kind of set off by itself as the main part of the restaurant was really loud when we left. This is a really good choice for a typical French restaurant with excellent seafood.
