Attentive and professional service. Always fresh fish from nearby market. Good rustic food. If you do not want to experiment with food or bill - that is the place you want to go. Have not been there for a long time, but once again - same consistency and quality. Place is not so easy to find for the first timer, but it sure will make you a returning customer.

If you like real eastern and European food, and an institution where the atmosphere of warmth and goodwill prevails. Here you can try and taste delicious Pizza, pasta and a variety of sushi
We had 4 nights in Batumi and ended up eating at Tokyo House twice because we were impressed with the quality of the sushi. The service was great and the menu, although it was in Georgian, had photos of each item so it was easy to follow. Just beware that some of the rolls follow the strangely European custom of containing cream cheese. If you are in doubt just ask the staff. Highly recommended.

I was looking for seafood restaurants and came across Rosmarin sushi bar. As a sushi lover I decided to try it out as the photos looked so yammi. I ordered Fudziyama hot sushi with tuna and tobiko and spicy sushi with unagi. It was served with same sauce and the amount of fish was so tiny that I even did not feel the difference between two different types of sushi. It had lots of sauce ( I assume from mayo) and had lots of rice. Not cheap at all and I found the price is not reasonable. Presentation though looked good, however it did not affect the taste. The service was good. They have pizzas and other dishes in their menu so probably those would taste better. Again, would not recommend it for sushi lovers.

This fish restaurant is right on the sea front and very close to the Docks. It is certainly in a picturesque situation. We had great views across the sea. Even though we went earlier today to book our table for five they actually forgot about us. But eventually we got a table on the water front. The restaurant was very busy with families so the service was slow. Three of our mains arrived and they were simply delicious fish dishes. However two of us waited and waited and our meals never arrived. Apparently another waiter had served our dishes to other guests! Two of us left hungry which was really disappointing. But three of my friends enjoyed their evening. Hopefully our experience was a one off.

What can I say. I am a very picky eater, meaning I like to eat good food. I also don't eat pork or goat if I have a choice. On that day when we stooped here for a night dinner I have tried to order a few thing from the menu and 6 out of 6 choices were not available. I was really disappointed and had to eat something that I did not like much. I left hungry. But other 9 people on our party had found something they could eat. Just an advice, don't have late dinners in any of the Georgian restaurants. The all make things fresh everyday and night and they don't have a lot. The food goes fast and if you come to a dinner at 8pm half of the menu would not be available. They will run out of food.

Had been here many times because of good Georgian dishes and clean and nice outdoor seating. Wine is good, place has slightly loud music, decor and ambience is good. Price is high, but Worth paying for a good dinner.
