Just been in here and waited 15 minutes for a tiny piece of cod and no chips didn't realise until I got home. That's £9.65 for a small bit of fish. Rang to say what had happened and offered free chips next time. So that's great spend some more money with us and we will give you what you have already paid for! Save your money there are others that are really not this expensive and know what they are doing.Hello Bill. Sorry to hear about your experience with us. I have investigated . The member of staff you spoke toasked whether you wished to speak to the manager which you rejected. I cannot find any combination of cod and chips which comes to £9.65. A regular cod with chips is £8.15. Find it strange that a 'small' piece of cod in a bag without chips would not be so obviously light in weight not to be noticed! I would be grateful if you would ring the shop and leave your name and telephone number so that I could ring you and better address the situation

Never been here before. Looking for somewhere for lunch.Very impressive place, very clean, friendly and welcoming staff.We both chose small fish and chips ( although they have an impressive menu).It was enormous, we were given bread and pickles. Fish was beautifully cooked and chips were crispy and fluffy.We will be returning soon to try something elseWell done

Really decent selection of quality Japanese dishes in a small but cosy restaurant. Sushi expertly crafted by the chef, is fresh and tastes amazing. Special Maki creations are truly outstanding, delicious and delightfully moreish. Tasty takoyaki and perfectly crisp but light tempura. Perfect fix of Japanese treats outside of Japan. Table service at the weekend: friendly service, good bread and pickles, cod was moist (batter a bit âflatâ and moist), chips arenât oily (perhaps could be a bit crispier and hotter straight out the frier rather than a bit warm), calamari a bit thin with thick batter (really needed to be hand cut and dipped in the batter). Fine fish and chips, but weâve had better.
