This place is on a street you would probably miss. We stumbled on it while exploring the city. Wow! What a delicious meal! The bacala was delicious and the spiedone di calamari was melt in tour mouth delicious. The pasta was fantastic and grilled shrimp fresh and fabulous! (They have the heads so Americans, don't freak out!) The service was so helpful even tho there was little English spoken (I speak Italian but my husband doesn't). Use Google translate or you'll miss out on some awesome food. Wonderful dining experience!

As reported by others, the seafood antipasto is a must, and steals the show. We didn't have a primi (although they looked very nice), but enjoyed our main dishes as well. The atmosphere is friendly and family-oriented, and the host efficiently conducts proceedings in a lively manner. Great to enjoy a seafood meal and soak up a friendly, family Italian atmosphere (at least on the night we were there).

Abbiamo cenato due volte, la prima con carne la seconda con pesce, ed entrambe ci hanno pienamente soddisfatto. Non esiste un menu ma le pietanze del giorno le si leggono su di una lavagna perchè cucinano quello che trovano al mercato. Lasciatevi consigliare da Lele, ma non perdete le olive ascolane che sono le migliori in assoluto che abbiamo provato. Vino sfuso di ottima qualità .

A few minor translation problems did nothing to spoil a wonderful evening. Service was very good and the meals were excellent. The recommended wine was first class. Had a wonderful lunch on a warm autumn day on the main square Piazza del Popolo.Mr. Berardo, the owner, suggested some freshly prepared dishes and we had a very good lunch with some fried stuffed olives (olive allâascolana), fried pecorino cheese, followed by home made ravioli stuffed with ricotta and a creamy truffles sauce , some chicken and a tuna âtagliataâ.Everything was fresh and tasting good and we were suggested some good local wine to be paired to the food.Dicaduca is for sure the best choice in the center of Ascoli Piceno.

Looked nice and I excitedly ordered the tasting menu. The sweet waitress took the order without demur. After consulting amongst themselves, the rather sinister looking male waiters said the tasting menu was for a minimum of two but that I could recreate it for double the price! Maybe they didnât like a 26e steal deal going to a foreigner (albeit bilingual). I asked them to reconsider but they wouldnât. I said I was unhappy and got up to leave. They tried to charge me for the water which I hadnât touched. They didnât try to persuade me not to go. So one of their 2 English language reviews this year will be damning. And beautiful Ascoli Piceno which is desperately short of quality foreign tourists. Well done guys, this is called winning the game of life -not ! In bocca al lupo.

So very clean with wonderful waitstaff who have some English!Food did not disappoint..lovely gnocchi and flavorful home made pasta with shrimp and calamari in cream pistachio sauce! Appetizer called âcreme brûlée âwas so good will get it again on my next visit!!
