I found this restaurant on Trip Adviser when I was looking for something close to Bologna airport. It literally is 10 minutes maximum from the airport. The food is really good and the service friendly and helpful. We almost overlooked this restaurant, since it was right next door to our hotel. But when the desk clerk saw us going out and asked about where we were going, we told him to eat. He said that the Glas restaurant next door was very good. We took his recommendation and walked the 10 steps necessary to get there. It opens for dinner at 7 PM. We were greeted very nicely. Our waiter had a rudimentary knowledge of English, that, with my limited Italian, was enough. We ordered a couple of appetizers: The fried Polenta and Cozze (Mussels). Both were excellent. We ordered two entrees to be divided. They brought the Tagletelle in a Meat sauce first, and then brought the Calamari and Scampi Frito (Fried Squid and Shrimp). Everything was done to perfection. I had a business dinner in this restaurants with several colleagues. The place itself is not too big and very welcoming. The dinner has been an experience that involved all the senses - I loved every single dish that was served. We had amuse bouche - piadina with squacquerone cheese, rocket salad and smoked brook trout - cotechino and tongue with polenta, chestnuts and mixed pickled vegetables with mustard - cappelletti soup with artichokes and prawns - cannellone with pumpkin, sausage and sage and white pepper stock - Artusi 475, a stunning complex preparation made with eel - bbqed wild duck with sweet and sour rhubarb and black pepper. Then we had a custom cake. The wines: Marcalberto metodo classico with the antrées, Otmar Mair Weissburgunder with the first courses, and a Marzemino with the secound courses. Berlucchi for the final toast. I personally did not appreciate the last two - but it's only a matter of personal preferences. Everything we ate was a delight for both sight and taste and was carefully arranged on the plate. The maître explained every single dish and wine without being invasive, the waiters were very professional even though young.

On the advice of our villa owner we visited the Teamvua restaurant which is down a steep path at the side of a hotel come sushi bar. We arrived before 7 but had to wait until 730 for the kitchen to open. The staff were wonderful and looked after the four of us. My daughters had anti past of meats and cheeses which was devoured. I had an excellent steak and my wife had pasta. Lovely meal. Thanks to all the staff especially the girl from the kitchen who assisted with the translation. A lovely restaurant

Almost a year has past, but our little family's memory of dining at Ensama lives on strong! Chef Sabino and his talented team served us one of the finest meals we've ever had - ever - anywhere! Every course was unique and artfully presented, emphasizing the flavor of the fish or seafood and not other accoutrements. We never placed an order, but rather sat back and enjoyed every one of about 8 courses. Chef Sabino is not only talented and gracious, but his background and credentials are extremely impressive. The location of the restaurant seems off the beaten path, but likely within 15 minutes of most anywhere you are in the Bologna area. Siamo ritornati in questo bellissimo ristorante che ha il potere di stregarci ogni volta! Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e ve lo consigliamo sicuri di non essere smentiti! Con ordine = degli antipasti degustazione dal baccala" con salsina strepitosa, del carpaccio di tonno + pera cotta nel vino, dell"insalata di mare al vapore strepitosa, poi tanti altri deliziosi che non ricordiamo. i nostri vini preferiti dalla Ribolla al Balange" poi dei gratinati deliziosi e un fritto croccante che ce lo siamo divorato con piacere! Per non parlare dei dolci e soprattutto i bigne" da affogare nel cioccolato fuso da perdere la testa!!! Molto soddisfatti torneremo presto!
