We stopped in Llanes, Asturias to peruse the town and hopefully experience some good food. Found a cute beach near some other tempting restaurants in a bay just around the corner from here but decided to view the port area and spotted La Marina restaurant. The Menu Marinero proved to be the ultimate temptation consisting of two courses of beautifully fresh seafood, a dessert to follow and an accompanying bottle of wine to guide it all safely down at ONLY â¬18.50 each..!! Well 'shiver my timbers and sink me sideways' .... we couldn't be seated quickly enough! The attending camarero was a young chap who provided admirable service and we dined outside to take advantage of the weather and the views of the port area etc. The seafood was so fresh you could almost taste the sea, the wine was refreshingly light and the atmosphere was excellent. If our accommodation wasn't so far away in Cantabria you can be assured that we would have gladly returned here to partake of more of the seafood fare. If you are ever in the area, don't hesitate to stop here and taste of the delights of La Marina!!

What a beautiful little restaurant with lovely staff. A very large selection on the menu, which looked delicious, wafting past us. We had a salad each as werenât that hungry. But we will definitely go there again when we drive back from Gijón.Many thanks Nanny for your review. We will be happy to assist you when you return from Gijon. Kind regards.
Where to eat Spanish food in Andrin: The Best Restaurants and Bars
ANIMATU !!

We visited this restaurant when on a recent tour of N Spain. It is superbly positioned overlooking a sandy beach. The tables are perched on a terrace. We had to sit in the alleyway on the approach to this though because they were all reserved. The food was fine once it arrived but we had to wait ages for a very simple order.A plate of cheese and bread and a few fried baby squid plus 2 drinks. Not complicated !The table of 2 locals who arrived about 10 mins after us were served all kinds of fantastic dishes long before we even had a sniff of our cheese ! What a mistake. You shouldn't treat people like this.To add insult to injury we were charged extra for the bread to eat with our cheese ! You wouldn't want cheese on its own would you ?If you are a tourist go elsewhere unless you have all day to waste waiting.

The Casa Del Mar (or the Blue Tent) is a great and lively place to share some seafood. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. They have a great menu including some local delicacies like Navajas (razor clams) and Percebes (goose foot barnacles). It's always busy, and the service is great.

This is not only a really great restaurant with very friendly staff, but also very easy on the wallet.A â¬13.50 menu, including 3 courses and a bottle of very good wine, with food that would make many top chefs jealous - you can't go wrong!Highly recommended

Hotel recommendation as being very good. Ordered prawns for starters -- OK, but main dishes of Veal Escalopes (good) but the Veal Entrecote was undercooked and untrimmed - parts inedible and not able to cut with sharp knife. Indifferent service and management not interested in the complaint. Left early and disappointed. Hotel were shocked!!!

Restaurant sits on top of (for a better word) the fish mart, (Lonja del pescado ) in the port of Llanes; this is where the fishing boats bring their daily catch which are auctioned among the authoritized members of the mart.It is a modern, airy, clean looking bar and restaurant with the freshest fish, shellfish and seafood. The waiters are very knowledgeable about the daily catch offer and suggest the most appropriate preparation for each variety of fish and seafood. The bar offers a good selection of tapas, both hot and cold. The place is always very busy and reservations are a must.
