The restaurant has an amazing view of the bay. Nevertheless the ambience its a little bit cheesy, in the effort to be "fancy" its a bit corny. I was tired of eating fish and seafood. So I had a Cazuela de Ave, that is a Chicken soup, with a big piece of chicken and lots of chunks of vegetables. It was superb, perfect for a rainy cloudy "chilote" day

Went here for lunch on Sunday as everywhere else in town was closed. The waiter was really friendly and spoke good English. We ordered salmon as had been recommended to eat it here in Ancud and it was absolutely delicious. However the fries we ordered were obviously from a bag and weren't fully cooked (the alternative was instant potato puree) Overall it was a nice meal but the restaurant is a bit strange as you can see straight into the office and the staff were standing around in the restaurant watching the football which was being shown on the TV.Felt it was very expensive for the wine and sides but fish was worth it and really tasty.

Small restaurant with seven tables. Bohemian style and typical from Ancud. Decorated with lots of pictures. Good service and attention. Good food. Average prices.
We are a chiloe meat and food restaurant

This restaurant is a gem; we sat on the balcony literally a few feet from the water. The owners and staff made us feel like family; one waitress even spoke German/English and suggested to us all kinds of other wonderful things we can do while on the Island. And - for those who travel Chile will appreciate this - the washrooms are new and super clean. Although the Costa Pacifico is 27km west of Ancud, it is more than worth the scenic drive to get there. We combined it with a Penguin Tour which can be booked in Ancud.

3 local fishermen with their families set up this little restaurant right on the Puñihuil beach overlooking the islands with the penguin colonies. Besides the typical local food like fish, shell fish and empanadas, we offer real coffee and delicious home-
This place is directly on the beach, and there is no town to support it. I guess they live off of people like us â coming to see penguinos. Our server was patient with our lack of Spanish. The view is great. The fish was awesome.Hi Morgan thanks for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to Puñihuil and to our restaurant. Have a great stay in Chile.Katja

Family restaurant that maintains the cultural and gastronomic traditions of the Island of Chiloe
I was there with my family recently. Luis was an excellent host. He knows a lot about Chiloe island history. Everything there was fine: food, service, beverages. It's a small place so a suggestion make a reservation before be there.

A lovely place to stop for a snack and the view. It was also a relief to find such a clean place after the rather grubby outskirts of Ancud. We also had a great welcome there.

Restaurant that offers global cousine with local products.
This place is really cool! You enter and you feel the coziness in the furniture and atmosphere. But the service is really bad. I came one night just for a couple beers and you could tell that none (but one waitress) had a clue. Mistaken drinks, took to long to bring a cocktail (even the pizza came before). By a he way, the pizza was really good, with great ingredients. The beer selection was good too.
