We have been coming to Alghero for 10 years and La Pergola is a lovely restaurant in a lovely location (by Maria Pia beach) with consistently very good food. We had the local specialty Paella. Our waiter Mattia needs a special mention for being so attentive. He also speaks very good English. Definitely a restaurant to visit in Alghero.

We visited the Ristorante Gioberti two weeks ago. Having had an aperitivo in the bar opposite, we decided to eat there because it was so close. It was an excellent decision. There was no printed menu, the chef deciding what to cook each day based largely on the day's catch from the harbour and the menu then written on a blackboard ! Seafood forms the majority of the menu but other meat dishes are available. The food was excellent, accompanied by a nice bottle of local white wine. It was not the cheapest meal of the holiday, but it was certainly the best.

We found this restaurants through Trip Advisor & booked a table. It looks like a very small restaurant, but goes back a long way and we were right at the back! The service was a little slow to start, but just because they had some big parties, once our order was taken, their service was brilliant. The food was absolutely out of this world. There were 7 of us & we all ate fish and both courses were amazing, everybody loved their food.

This place is special. The food is deliciously prepared and served with passion. The waiters are soo attentive and knowledgable. You can tell they love what they do, which is to serve top quality, homemade food. We had the 5 seafood starter and I had the pork shank to follow. No complaints from us! We will be back here for sure. Thanks for a great meal.

Based on reviews we were expecting very good food, however, the reality was a surprise! great selection of vegetable starters, absolutely amazing seafood pasta with nice Vermentino wine. The owners were several times at the table interesting in our experience. Great!

Al 43 di Via Doria is a really special and romantic Restaurant. The ideal place for your special event. For your romantic dinner. Fine cuisine and an elegant setting for your important moments.
Everything was perfect...quiet room and comfortable chairs, attentive service, and food so good it was hard to converse about anything else. Great menu with fresh local ingredients. I had tenderloin with fresh truffles and a glass of local Canonau. It could not have been more delicious.

My family enjoyed a fantastic evening at Villa Sole.I chose the Fish Degustation Menu, which was delicious and good value for money.Ambiente of the restaurant is stylish, but relaxed.Service was extremely attentive and professional. Can highly recommend this place, although if you don't stay at the nearby hotel, it means a 5km drive outside Alghero.

We visited here solely after seeing it had great reviews for its paella, and we can truly see why now. We were very lucky to even get a table when we arrived as they were fully booked, but they very kindly squeezed us in. A very lovely blue and white beach themed restaurant with plenty of seating for alfresco dining on the veranda. The seafood paella with the algherese twist of fregula pasta instead of rice, was excellent! For the â¬12 price which we couldn't believe (The cheapest we found in Alghero), we had a very generous portion, enough for almost 4 portions each, and was packed with seafood! The drinks were also reasonably priced and the homemade tiramisu was delicious. A very lovely final touch was the homemade bottle opener which we were given when paying the bill.We loved Enhorabona so much that we booked for our final evening meal in Alghero before we even left, to make sure we didn't miss out! I would really recommend this restaurant for the good quality food and very friendly staff.

The Kings restaurant is located in the enchanting atmosphere of the old town. We give you the possibility to eat in a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea, along the ramparts Marco Polo Alghero. This is our kitchen, mix of typical Alghero cuisine and tra
Great location and super view but the food was not impressive. The waiters had more focus on getting guests in and out rather than taking care and serving of the guests already there. This is a typical restaurant where the tourists go (not may locals) - the location is fantastic and if service and food could live up to the expectations indicated by the price level 5 stars would come easily.
