Best food we had in Sicily! Absolutely delicious, great portions, good prices, amazing atmosphere, lovely staff! Thank you once again for our beautiful evening at your restaurant!!!!!

We had the worst experience at the place. The stuff was totally unprofessional, forgot about us and our order, were stressed out and ran all around the place... When we reminded about ourselves - they brought the starters (what they had prepared and not exactly what was in the menu) and didn't even apologize. Then we cancelled the second dishes and they still brought it... so after 2 hours wait we had a seafood starters and were totally unsatisfied with a service. Food was food though. But we would never return. Enjoy Sicily, guys! There is a plenty of good places to eat.

Arrived from Ferry in Palermo with Camper car and was tired, hungry and open minded to everything!Tuesday evening at the beach in March, all closed, but there I saw a lot of cars in front of Quattro Cantie! I went in, ask for a table and realized that I was falling in a privat Birthdayparty of their lovely child, 1 Year old! Grandma, aunts, sisters, neighbors, ... with their childâs and families were there.I ask for something to eat, and they invited me to be part of their party, served me excellent food! I was very surprised about their guest friendship and spend several times there for dinner. It was always very taste, with friendly, familiar and proffessional service.
Foresteria San Giacomo is a meeting point for different cultures and traditions, a place to get advice and discover dishes, beers and wines that are always different!
A new restaurant down a side street right near the old castle, this was a great find. The atmosphere is chic and cosy but surprisingly spacious. We were a large group but didn't feel crammed. The menu has a very wide range, taking inspiration from plenty of Sicilian dishes and seasonal ingredients (Jerusalem artichokes, winter truffles, locally sourced seafood, fennel...) but each dish with its own twist. Very inventive, and also filling! I had the fish cous cous -- a popular dish along Sicily's west coast -- which was sublime. The bar is well stocked, with a good supply of locally brewed beers for about â¬5 a pint. We had starters, main course and drinks all for around â¬20 a head, which seemed more than reasonable. Certainly a drink and a main would be fine as well and again reasonably priced.Looking forward to going back soon!

La Battigia restaurant, is the flagship of the Hotel. The restaurant has two rooms with stunning views of Castellammare del Golfo. House specialties are typical Sicilian dishes. Privilege only for hotel guests and for a few selected customers to taste the
We had lunch there. the restaurant has a very beautiful view on the see, as far as it's located on the beach. The food was tasty, but the portions was so small a specialy after our previous experience in the other restaurants. And the price we considered to be to high. the service was good.

We came upon this restaurant after walking around Alcamo for a while, looking for someplace to eat. Salsapariglia has a large dining room, attentive staff, and excellent food. I was hoping to have couscous on our trip to Sicily, and I was not disappointed by the preparation here. There were very few other diners, but it was early (by Italian standards). We would definitely return.

Excellent find for excellent food when sightseeing in the area. Service is so friendly and attentive. A few car parking spaces available. Good menu choices. Food - my husband had the chicken curry and rice and I had a pizza. Nicest meal of our holiday by far. Drink prices and food prices very good for the quality. Decor and ambiance of restaurant is really cosy. Would recommend to others for sure!

Our is a restaurant located in the center of Castellammare del Golfo just a few meters from the Port. It is a restaurant built inside an ancient monastery of 1870, with characteristic walls of the time, all associated with a great Mediterranean fish cuisi
Being welcomed with warmth, friendliness and professionalism is one good, when not essential, thing when dining out. The word restaurant literally means "a place where to restore", hence the first element is there and Francesco knows how to treat his customers! However, the real BOOM BANG experience is their food! Simply excellent on all fronts! The fish is super fresh, caught and brought daily from local fishermen. The freshness is something that you see with your eyes and experience in your mouth, at each bite, without failing ever your senses! We ate an antipasto of sea cruditè with red and white prawns (so fresh that only the very skin of the head was left, without the inside is understood!), tuna and sword fish tart-tar, one oyster (I leave it to your imagination to gather how fresh the oyster was), and marinated salmon. Then their stable and revisited pasta con le sarde with busiate and turmeric flavoured breadcrumbs was to die for! and obviously, because you judge a restaurant from their most simple dish, I decided to go for spaghetti alle vongole, and here I was totally utterly entirely thrilled! This is a must go, whether if you happen to be near by or if you have to fly from New York to go there!!!!! Highly recommended!
