My wife and I enjoyed a meal at this new restuarant in the Lemon Tree Shopping Centre, Alberton. A fish restuarant with a wide variety of fish served in pans with a choice of rice or french fries. Service was fast and eficient. Good variety alcholic beverages and soft drinks. Owner and managers were visible at all times. I suppose this happens everywhere but on Mothers Day they couldn't cope with the numbers. Food was good but service was a let down from getting drinks to delivery of food. It took about 20 minutes before drinks arrived and food took almost 1 hour. When it arrived my steak and vegetables were cold. We had to return it to be warmed up which meant we ended up eating at different times.

Had lunch at the Ocean Basket, Mall of the South. Outside seating. Ordered a 200g Grilled kingklip with Salad and a Ice Tea (R136.00). Well prepared. Good efficient and friendly service. Nice atmosphere for a business meeting.

We set sail for the Captain's quarters after sunset in the hope that we might catch a nibble of the catch of the day! We had some sushi and chose John's platter...surely, the Captain's choice is best! We were not overly surprized, but nothing was underdone. This ship will survive. Rock n Sole is a lovely neighborhood seafood and grill restaurant. The service is always friendly and professional, while the variety offers something for everyone.They have excellent sushi, lovely prawns and hand cut chips. Having recently started serving breakfast, I predict they will remain popular for a long time.

Fun ambiance and service superb. That doesnât make up for fact fish was rubbery and not properly cooked. Seasoning was uneventful. Hoped for more peri peri taste although they had sauce in table. Not the same as grilled with sauce. Liver starter excellent. Also excellent security getting in and out from street. Sketchy neighborhood way off the grid. Take taxi not safe.

The quality of South African food generally borders on legendary, and my own experiences (and waistline) have been testament to that in the past. Perhaps my expectations of Adega were therefore high, but by any standards our recent meal was a huge disappointment.The prawns were okay but nothing special, the steak was tough and tasteless, and the ribs were undercooked and far from tender. Service was reasonable. All in all, a sub-standard and utterly forgettable meal - such a shame, given the reviews and recommendations. Maybe we were unlucky and the chef was having a bad day.

Spent an enjoyable Sunday morning after Church having breakfast. For R35 you can have two eggs (made to order - I had scrambled & my wife fried), two rashers of crispy bacon, french fries, fried tomato, toast with preserves and filter coffee. Real value for money. Service was fast and managers visibly in attendance. Atmosphere in restuarant peaceful.I understand that the restuarant has a good reputation for sea food and steaks are great. I will test this on my next visit

We where a group of 7 and every single person enjoyed the food... Everyone had smiles all round and couldnât stop complimenting the food and venue..We had from fish to steaks, and everything was just perfect...The kiddies enjoyed the play area, we barely saw them. They just loved it..10/10 keep it up guys...Till we see you again.....

WOW not only are ALL their food scrumptious the price and plate portions are so well worth it! Then you have a choice of sitting inside or outside with umbrella cover and soft water spray all over for those hectic JHB Summer days. A lovely play area for kids and a separate WELL DESIGNED smoking area not off putting to non smokers and smokers, as some restaurants smoking areas can get you quit the habit! The décor inside is smart and simple and whether you like to enjoy a meal outside or inside the atmosphere is great either way! The Manager comes around at least twice to inquire if all is well and not shy to share the Specials of the day AND take your order! We have had many luncheons, late afternoon and evening dinners at Fahrenheit Lemon Tree and is for sure our FAVOROUT eating place.
