Lovely meal in a great location. Beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding area. Gorgeous meal with great service. Lots of choice for everyone. Real value for money.

Trattoria del pesce La Virata stems from the desire to create a reality based on a cuisine dedicated to the sea, with particular attention to the seasonality of fishery products that we carefully select. The result is a simple cuisine, with intense flavor
Visited La Virata twice last week. The place was busy on both occasions (not all tourists) but the service was friendly and efficient. Free glass of rose wine and small appetiser before ordering. The food was excellent - prawn and rosemary risotto (superb), seafood gnocchi (delicious), salmon ravioli (very tasty), grilled seabass. Unfortunately no room for dessert on either occasion. The meal ends with a help-yourself bottle of limoncello and liquorice liqueur. Not particularly expensive. Highly recommended.

La Veranda del Color, the restaurant of the Color Hotel, awarded with 1 star from the Michelin Guide, Italian cuisine served in a creative manner, with traditional dishes....but innovative, a well stocked Cellar with Italian Wines, organization of persona
Was staying at the hotel and ate here twice. We did the meat taster one time which was nice and then the a la Carte which again was nice. But neither were mind blowing. If you want to drink wine by the glass the choice is minimal. The decor does not feel right for Michelin starred but that might be in part because it was where we had breakfast. The service was ok but variable. Some waiters explained the course, others did not. It only does dinner.Dear BirminghamNetty, thank you for sharing your experience and your impressions about La Veranda del Color. As you can see from other reviews, there are guests which are enthustiastic of the ambience, but of course it also a matter of personal taste. For sure, the atmosphere in the evening is quite different from the morning, it's more intimate and romantic. Thanks and best regars.

We stayed at the Boffenigo recently and ate at La Terrazza for four nights, so we got to know the menus pretty well. Situated where the hotel is, in the hills outside Costermano, the restaurant has a captive audience in its guests who don't have a car and, in the main it does a good job. The meat, fish and vegetarian menus are all well put together, well prepared and well presented. The a la carte menu is simply a repetition of the same dishes and, as such, a little restrictive. Especially if you are obliged to eat there every night. We had an additional problem in that my wife is GF, which is boring for everybody. We soon discovered that there were very few dishes on the menu that she could eat. Unlike other 5-star hotels where we have stayed, the kitchen was not prepared to offer anything special, so we were obliged to eat outside the hotel for three nights of the seven we were there. This was definitely not the fault of Guiseppe, who did his best to be helpful, or his staff, in particular Gisele, who was always very agreeable and helpful. It simply demonstrated an unwillingness on the part of the kitchen to use their imagination and vary their choices. For instance, at the beginning of the meal on the first night we were offered, 'as a gift from the chef' one small ball of goat's cheese and a small caprese roll. The same 'gift' was offered every night we ate there. We were not impressed on day one and by day four we were positively unimpressed! Use your imagination chef! You are a very good chef. Don't become self-satisfied. That is the bane of good chefs. The really good ones never stop trying to impress. By the time we come back next year we hope you have earned your first Michelin star. You can do it.

Not directly on the street. 30 meters away. We had a lunch. Sallad, two kinds of pasta and dessert. Everything was much better than we had in more expensive restaurants on this tour. Fantastic place to sit outside. Service both friendly and efficient. I strongly recommend this place for bikers on this route. (Though 2 cyklists thought it was a café. And went away angry, after being denied to order just coffée.)

Expect very good traditional dishes in a very local atmosphere. There is no lake view and its not particularly "nice" either, but the service is good and food great. Simple fish and meat dishes, along with great pasta. Go there for the more "local" experience!

Locanda Moscal is welcoming, colorful and dynamic. We are not a restaurant with a Michelin star, and even a trattoria. We are a middle ground between the two: we offer quality at a fair price. Our Locanda offers suitable for all menus. We also have vegeta
They serve really good food, tartar is great. Pork chops with caramelised onion were fantastic. Home-made ice-cream is delicious. And they recommend really good lical wine. You see many locals or even mostly locals, they speak basic English and knowledge of some Italian helped us a lot

This was one of the most pleasurable restaurant visits that we have ever had. The service was amazing, very lively and sweet. The food was spectacular. The decor and music was fantastic and fitted the restaurant perfectly. Definitely worth a visit.

Situated high above Pastrengo, this fort of a restaurant overlooks Lake Garda and wine country. The inside is stunning brick with the design coordinating off little rooms with the hall. This is a large restaurant, apt for parties or just a few people. Busy place. We had the menu di Terre. Very good, especially the raw beef. Wine menu was a bit limited. Plenty of easy parking, follow signs to restaurant when heading to Pastrengo.

Probably this is a family-oriented restaurant, and this explains why there were so many kids screaming and running around like maniacs. I am not against children if they are well-mannered, but when it is too much it becomes annoying for the other guests trying to have dinner and trying to exchange a normal conversation. Food was overall good, a bit over-priced, but what ruined everything was the atmosphere. Not to try if you see kids running around...
