Every Friday live Greek music
For the last four years when visiting my wifeâs sister who lives in a nearby village we have visited in daytime for drinks and always for one dinner - suggest you book if you want to pick a particular table and when they are doing their âGreek Nightâ. Located on the beachfront in a lovely quiet location. Food is excellent as is the service. As it is out of the main town ask for location or look for their horse and landau that advertises the restaurant in the main town - their food speaks for itself as can be seen from the people who visit year in and out and many times during their visits

The place is usually full if you go early for dinner, and it might be a bit noisy and you must wait more for the service. After 21:00 it is much better. The food is traditional Greek, including both fish and meat dishes. We did opt for the mixed grill plate, which had a good variety (pork, beef, chicken) and all well cooked. The location on the sea side makes it also a good choice for a more romantic dinner.

This review is based on our experience only. A little walk out or taxi ride but well worth it for the views and excellent food. The customer service from Lakis was excellent had us laughing and kept all customers entertained and happy a most warm welcome given. The first night we ate the moussaka with homemade chips and the dish of the day which was a new Greek dish tried called Briam with feta both delicious. Garlic bread with cheese for starters and three delicious dips. The second night we enjoyed live Greek music and had garlic mushrooms chicken in mushroom and peppercorn sauce with homemade chips and spaghetti with tomato sauce. Excellent food great views and great value for money thank you a for great experience will be back.
Where to eat Greek food in Afandou: The Best Restaurants and Bars

A lovely restaurant featuring Mediterranean and new Greek cuisine. Freshly baked desserts are available daily. The well stocked bar offers quality wine, cocktails and a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and is open until late . We can cater
What can I say , I visited this awful restaurant with friends and family ,there were 7 of us in total. From the beginning when we walked in the service was terrible. Were were seated and had to ask for drinks. The drinks took over 30 minutes to arrive and when they did they were incorrect. We asked for the correct drinks and again waited at least another 20 minutes. We were still short of a soft drink and asked multiple times for this and it never did arrive. We orderd a selection of breads for starters and they turned up the same time as mains. Mains arrived staggered some again didnât arrive at all. Two pasta dishes were ordered one arrived as a childrenâs meal-this is not what was ordered . The food was bland and of poor quality, a good vet could have bought the chicken back to life!! When we informed the awful staff their attitude was something I have never witnessed before. I have eaten at many restaurants all around the world and have never tasted or had a worst experience such as we did at âlimeâ We asked for the bill and when we looked there was meals included that we hadnât even had recieved. When we addressed this to the staff they started shouting . The muscular waiter we named â musclesâ told my mum and sister that he would kill them if we didnât pay... may I add for meals we hadnât even had!!!!!!. My mum was very scared and my uncle who sufferers from bad anxiety had to go outside to calm down. The staff would not listen to anything we had to say and threatened to call the police. We were fine with this as they may have actually listened and resolved the situation. I have never experienced anything like this in my whole entire life . I would ask that everyone checks their bill if they do decide to eat here and if you donât there are much better eateryâs around including gala opposite where we decided to go afterwards and had a fantastic meal with excellent service. Please avoid !This was not your first visit here. You have been twice before and I can assume that you enjoyed your visits, making this the reason you chose Lime for your gathering and we thank you for this. But really, thanks for nothing. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves. You arrived drunk and first thing you said is that you needed a bottle of wine to drink, before the others arrived. Your group was the first on the premises, and since our orders are on a system which documents time, I can tell you that your entire group was served with drinks and food within 25 minutes. Alcohol tends to dull the senses. Taste, judgment, reactions, time awareness, etc. Please look into this. The chicken dish which was returned was already well cooked as was noted on the order sheet. You returned it to be cooked even longer, almost burnt you instructed, and then proceeded to reject it. You were heard saying that you don't like the food so we would have to offer you free drinks. One member of your group took longer deciding on his dinner, so it was ordered separately from the rest. In the meantime 5 more tables arrived and preparation had begun for them. Despite this, the meal was ready within 15 min, again, documented. But our waitress came inside to say you no longer wanted this because it was late. Members of your party were standing and shouting, disrupting all other customers. Although you asked for a discount and it was honoured on the condition that you leave the premises, you rejected that and continued to argue about paying for food and drink you had consumed. I asked you to leave, with an unpaid bill of â¬191. Congratulations, I have a feeling this was not a new experience for you. Please do not come back, you are not welcome.

We had lamb chops, moussaka and a gyros plate. The portions were such good value for money and the quality was there and more! The meat was so flavoursome over all the dishes and they all had an authentic flavour at such a reasonable price. We will be back again before the holiday is up !

Seafood and traditional dishes !!
We were recommended to try here by local friends, so tonight went early hoping we'd get a table.. a lovely elderly gentleman told us they don't open until 8pm & pointed us to a nearby bar. Food tonight was from the seafood menu & very delicious! We loved it all...shrimp saganaki, ouzo prawns, grilled squid, pranks in rice with peas & corn..served with large Greek salad & grilled rye herb bread. The house red wine was good, service was excellent and we loved our meal here. If you like a genuine Greek taverna with fresh home-cooking, and traditional kitchen surroundings, this was a great find! Would highly recommend it, but go early!

We visited the place with friends and families. The place is quite traditional. It was hot during noon time (ventilation with mechanical fans around). The options are limited and the are staff speaking basic English. They were not able to explain the menu options clearly. The food was acceptable.Beverages limited option for beers and wines.Friendly staff however attitude not so clients oriented.

Shark Fish Restaurant - Afandou beach, Rhodes, Greece ! Next to the sea in a great location with great view all hours of the day you can enjoy fresh seafood dishes of Mediterranean cuisine and flavors that will enchant you, we offer a wide range of seafoo
Very friendly host, warmly welcomed. Offered and featured the best seafood products from which I would choose our favorite products. The funniest thing was to see that the food was cooked not on the electric grill, but on the coals. The portion was big enough, sorry for not shooting sea fish which was a real taste harmony. When it was eaten it was too late :). After all, the surprise was that it served me dessert and national spirits, which surprised me and my girlfriend a lot. Nothing is in vain, but the reception, the food and the good marketing really paid off. Spent time worthy of attention!
