Discover Restaurants offering the best Seafood food in Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Best known as the capital of Charlemagne's Frankish empire, today's Aachen sits at the juncture where Germany meets the Netherlands (the Dutch know it as Aken) and Belgium (where "Walloons" call it Aix-la-Chapelle). But Aachen's history goes back even further than 8th-century Charlemagne. Roman soldiers dating back to the 1st century AD cherished its hot springs (as did Charlemagne, who loved a good spa day just as much as the next guy). Aachen Cathedral, northern Europe's oldest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the city's main attraction.

We went yesterday with a friend to eat sushi at Kanpai. We really enjoyed the food and the serving was also great. My one and only objection was the price. If the prices were 20% lower than they are now I would probably be there really often!

The Vietnamese people combined the best parts of the Thai, the Chinese, the Cambodian, the Mongolian and the French Kitchen and created incredibly delicious new dishes. We offer Vietnamese cuisine and also japanese Sushi.
Vietnamita English speaker waiter, translated the menu, made recommendation, duck curry, crispy, tender full of flavour, cooked perfect, sushi set also very fresh served with mango salad beautifully presented. The whole experience was very good. I recommend and if in town I will go back!

The location is not the nicest: it is near to a very busy road, with lots of grey buildings around. But the inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated, and the food definitely compensates the lack of a nice view. It is definitely worth a visit! We go very often for lunch at the restaurant: they have a great lunch menu, for a very good price. As starter, there is a miso soup. As main dish, I normally choose the salmon teriyaki (with side dishes of rice and salad) - the salmon is perfectly done, with a very delicious sauce. My husband normally goes for the chicken Katsu - fried chicken, also with rice and salad as side dishes.Hello Frau JBacaba.Thank you for your great comment. I am very happy to hear about your comment. it takes 2 days to prepare Teriyaki Sauce and 5 days for Torikatsu Sauce. If I can hear the voice from the guests, I feel motivated and can work harder in my daily job. Thank you once again and see you in next time/year !
