Beautiful little pub- restaurant in a peaceful bay on the loch. Floating moorings so you can easily tie up and use the pub. The decor and fittings are quirky, food was beautifully cooked and the staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend and wouldnât hesitate to come back

Seafood restaurant using fresh locally sourced fish, meats and game.
Lovely welcome and service throughout the evening from Amanda and Laura (hope I've remembered that right). Scallops were perfectly cooked and the smoked haddock chowder delicious. We don't adhere to 'white with fish' and the Pinot noir (with a nice 'nudge' from our waitress as i pondered on our choice out loud) was spot on. Whole sea bream beautifully cooked.Fancied some whiskey and wondered what would go with Sticky Toffee pudding. Recommendation from waitress was 'Oban' and was a very nice 'match'The food was wonderful and our 2 waitresses were friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and very professional. Great evening. Hope to return on our next trip

We - The Fraser family and our team extend a warm welcome in the best traditions of Scottish hospitality to one of the oldest Coaching Inns in the Highlands. We are a 3 star Inn, the Inn has been in the Fraser family for over 45 years and we aim to please
The menu is nicely varied, and a lot of local produce is used. I can recommend their sharing platters, either shared as a starter, or for one person as a main. Everything was delicious and well presented, and the prices reasonable.

Restaurant with stunning views over Loch Awe. Menu can be adapted for all tastes and allergies, with vegan friendly options.
I couldnât wait any longer to write my review. Weâve eaten in the restaurant here 3 times this week and I was disappointed last night when it came to ordering dessert, they had ran out of cranachan!! Determined not to miss out, we ordered early tonight and it was well worth the 24 hour wait! Do order it (with a wee dram) youâll be glad you did

Loved our visit here - so quintessentially Scottish in a lovely location. Quality light bites menu, simple cafe, mini shop and smoked goods counter. All fab.Try the smoked haddock chowder - gorgeous and not a little bit moorish.Laurie looked after us, wonderful hospitality - chatty and friendly.

Popular Tearoom/coffee shop.Lovely fresh home baking and tasty ,somewhat unusual soups.Good value for money.
We stumbled on this lovely little cafe on our way south, and we were glad we looked in. The staff welcomed us and served us delicious tea and scones. They even managed good gluten free food. It was a cosy relaxing place to be on a wet August day. Will certainly revisit when in the area.

Whilst this is basically a Seafood Restaurant, the Duck that I ordered was excellent as was the Langoustine Bisque. My husband was slightly disappointed with the way the brown crab was dressed, though it was absolutely huge. Certainly a place to visit again

Country pub with freshly cooked bar meals open in evenings. Good selection of food with special needs catered for on request. Range of beers on tap and wide choice of malt whiskies. Very friendly pub, families and dogs welcome. We are only open from mid Ma
Jim and Sally were very welcoming and helpful. Bruce (barman) and the locals (including Cliff from Loch Awe boat hire) were very friendly. We stayed here in the Study for a week in September 2018 and it was very relaxing. We didn't have the best week weather wise but this didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. Food and drinks in the bar were very good (a great choice of whiskies). Some nice walks from the house and Oban, Kilmartin, and Inverary are all within 1 hours drive and are well worth visiting. We enjoyed playing carpet bowls one day when the weather was so bad we didn't want to leave the house, Jim also advised us that because the bar does not open until 6PM we could take our own drinks into the bar.

We stayed locally at Ardanaseig and loved this casual, cosy place. This place feels like a labour of love for the couple who run it. Great food and lovely service. Iâm

We typically research the restaurant we're going to eat at, but on this rainy day we needed to find something on the fly that was nearby Hollow Mountain. We stopped in here and are so glad that we did. The food was top quality and our server was exceptionally nice and accommodating. We highly recommend eating here.Hi JoeJenD12,Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review.I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your meal with us!Hopefully we will see you again soon! All the best,Ross MacDonaldAssistant Manager
