Our HEJM (a Swedish word for home) is a restaurant with Scandinavian cuisine by the sea. Besides a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, we like food made with love and based on traditional methods, with a modern touch. We just love to work with local producers. Y
Restaurangen ligger precis vid vattnet i det nybyggda Fiskets hus. Ljuvlig, modern atmosfär med öppet kök. Fin service.Vi åt 4-rätters tastingmeny en middag. Maten var mycket vällagad med lokala råvaror. Många nya smakupplevelser. Portionerna var väldigt stora och maten redig.Ett fint tillskott till Vasas restaurangutbud.
We visited last Summer and from the time we boarded the ferry to take us to the island, till the time we returned to the mainland, we just loved every minute of it. As a tourist from New Zealand and visiting Vaasa for the first time, the boat ride, taking approx. 45 minutes, was a fascinating thing, sailing past many small islands and viewing many beautiful " beach houses," which are constructed during the winter months, when the harbour/gulf becomes an iced over road. Lunch at The Saluuna, was Just THE BEST thick Salmon Soup EVER! Very Memorable, lunching on the deck with a glass of something, sun, seaviews and Old Friends. Only wish we could have lingered longer. - Thank You Jannen Saluuna and Riku/Ulla.

We'd booked one of the meeting rooms upstairs but unfortunately they where not ready for us when we arrived 15 minutes early so we had to wait for them to fix the last thing. The space was okay but the big boat under the table was just annoying. The food was okay but not impressed as many items of the menu was changed due to missing ingredients.. I'll maybe give it a go again but not in a while..Hi Mathias, thank you for you feedback, we are truly sorry that the meeting room wasn't ready for your group on time. We are aware that there is some adjustments that have to made to get the facility and food up to the perfection that our customers expect and deserve. We hope you give the place another chance in the future, and we are working on getting everything running smoothly :).Have a nice summer,Best wishes,Henriette.

Restaurant Seglis - Local food by the Sea We open our season in the beginning of May. Lunch and a la carte restaurant with wonderful views of the water and an own brewery in the attic. Open daily in the summer and on request in the fall. In December we of
Our family had a dinner here on Friday, July 6th. The restaurant was almost empty. So any advance booking wasn't needed. They have a very beautiful summer terrace with marvelous yacht harbor views. The interior of the old wooden villa is quite reduced. They have a brewery upstairs and they serve food made of local ingredients. The á la carte menu is quite limited. However, they serve both salads, pizza, hamburgers, entrecote, fish, ribs etc. Hamburgers are of much better quality than in hamburger chain restaurants. We also ordered pike from the nearby sea and ribs with coleslaw. We had two young women as waitresses. The service was extremely friendly and polite, perhaps the best of this whole year. The distance from the market square is about two kilometers and the walking route is very beautiful. I really recommend this restaurant but remember to check their opening hours.

Once again the lunch on Bacchus is beyond this world! And the waitors keep the tables and buffet clean and tidy. I have never been disapointed when eating lunch here!

âBy the sea, friendly, fresh and laid-backâ At the quay of Kalaranta you will find us along with the most spectacular view in Vaasa. Faros Restaurant is an old lightship that came to Vaasa in 1989 and has ever since worked as a restaurant. After an extens
Carpaccio and Entrecote with nice Argentinian red wine. The wine was excellent, carpaccio and steak average. This is ship restaurant with separate section on the shore and terrace in the between.Prices are a bit expensive, but if the weather is nice, itâs nice place to eat

Welcome to our ambient cellar to enjoy good food, wine and Finnish craft beers. In our century old bank building we prepare Tasting Menus and Gastropub food with local ingredients and a lot of passion. The restaurant consists of a Fine Dining area and a G
We were four and went to the restaurant on a Monday evening for dinner. The place a bit empty with a few other business folks dining. I had fish and my colleagues had reindeer. The food was great, a bit pricey, but very good! The ambience somewhat unique and has a flavor of a wine cellar; this lace brews their own beer, which is worth trying.

Nice location on waterfront in Vaasa. The food looked very good and tasted even better. Very friendly and efficient service. Knowledgable and the waitress did not hesitate to question my choice of wine with the dish âto light for the sauce that goes with the dishâ. I took her advice and she was absolutely right!
