Reviews on Scandinavian food in Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas, Canary Islands. This big resort—the largest on Gran Canaria—was developed in the 1960s specifically as a tourist area. And all types of tourists have found it. LGBT travelers, families with kids, au naturel sunbathers, honeymooners, groups of young singles… there’s a spot for everybody on the beach here (and a hotel or apartment for every budget).

What can we say, it still lives up to last year's review, and possibly improves. Welcoming staff and owner, and the most delicious food.On our second visit this holiday we had the pleasure of their 'Christmas Lights Switch On'. Yes it's November, but what fun, and very special.Back to the food, tenderloin, meatballs and steak have been so well cooked and perfectly flavoured. We genuinely can't recommend this place enough.Note they'll be moving round the corner early 2019, do make the trip, I'm sure you won't regret it!

Really fancied smoked fish & pickles. Chose this Finnish restaurant, was so not disappointed! The tapas board was really fresh and tasty and beautifully presented and served by lovely attentive waitress. After we ordered more portions of herring as was so delicious. We had bottle of house wine which was perfect with our meal. The price was very reasonable especially considering the excellent quality of the food. Will definitely be going back.

The food was amazing!Good starter with flavors pouring in from 6 directions. (Prawns & bread-cheese-pepperoni)Same for the mains. (Meatballs & chicken) The meatballs were extremely juicy. Even got the ‘secret’ to them from the chef. You’ll have to ask her yourself though, not putting it out here ;)The chicken was really rich.Service was friendly, correct and with a bit of informality, which was very welcome as we are on vacation and not out on a business dinner. Also the menu has a lot of icons detailing the common (and not so common) allergens. Just like the staff, they were happy to tend to the preferences we had.
