Find out what Scandinavian restaurants to try in Landskrona. Landskrona is a late medieval town in Scania province, Sweden, located at the shores of Øresund, founded at the location of the former Danish fishing village Sønder Sæby in the province of Scania by king Erik VII of Pomerania early in the 15th century. In 1720 the town, like its province, became a formal part of Sweden. Around the Castle build by Danish king Christian III in 1549, Landskrona Citadel, a huge system of moats emerged over the centuries, also in the town's Swedish history. Today the Citadel is famous for its well-preserved moat system, which includes parts of four moats. At the northern part of the Citadel, Sweden's second, and today oldest allotment area is located. Its port is based on a natural chute in the sandy sea floor, despite the lack of any nearby debouching river.
Things to do in Landskrona

This restaurant is part of hotel Ãresund
I was staying at the Hotel Ãresund on business and wanted to eat in the restaurant after a journey from Scotland via Copenhagen. The restaurant is downstairs in a converted cellar/vaults area and all the brickwork is exposed and the place is lit by candlelight. It was very romantic and made me wish I had my husband with me, instead of being a lone business traveller! The choice on the menu was good. The service was also good - one waiter, two chefs (a food ratio in my book!). The quality of the food was excellent, I was completely surprised, as I did not expect it from what I knew of Landskrona being a small and quiet town. Kale soup with quail egg & lemon oil to start; juniper-braised quail with a ragout of bacon, beans & mushrooms for main course; finished off with a heavenly rise hip panacotta with fresh berries. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. It was expensive, but I expected it to be, due to the quality; the above 3 courses plus coffee and a bottle of mineral water cost SEK500 (£50).

I was on Business in Landskrona and my hosts took me to the Speakers Corner for dinner both evenings we were there as its really the only place in town. Its an old world wood lined proper old school pub with a vast range of beers from all over Europe.Food is varied and plentiful and delicious. I had the Swedish egg pie and bacon which is like a Huge Yorkshire pudding with 1/4" thick strips of bacon that takes me back to my youth as its so tasty. Served with the obligatory linganberries which you seem to get with every meal. Massive portion no way I could finish it. Following night I had the house burger which again was large and tasty , all the usual bells and whistles, pickle, tomato, cheese etc proper home made chips. Not cheap but nothing is in Sweden but given its a one pony show its well worth the visit.

Every time I come to this restaurant I cannot stop admiring the view. Especially when the weather is nice and you can sit outside and enjoy the sunset. The food is good, but the portions are not so big for the price. The service is ok.

Visited Erikstorps Kungsgård celebrating friends a Friday evening. Had a glass of Champagne, followed by the four course menu with wine pairings. Excellent food and attentative and pleasant serving. Dion, of course, with his previous experience, is very knowledgeable when it comes to wines and food and service.

We came for dinner to this small restaurant with nice patio at the harbor of Landskrona. Unfortunately all tables were full so we returned a bit later for some drinks. Beware that the kitchen closes at 9pm and the restaurant at 10pm. Is this a helpful review? Then please give me a "Thumbs up Thank FrankGeisler" by clicking the button below.
