I really liked the food and beverage selection. The service was impeccable, specially for Sweden. While I enjoyed everything I had, the price was very high. I guess being the best restaurant for 200km allows you to charge whatever you like.

We survived but hopeful they gonna improve some of the food for the summertime?Hej Preben K!Jag vill tacka dig för ditt omdöme av vår restaurang och vår mat! Harrys is a genuine Swedish bar & restaurant chain that started in Falkenberg 1993. The perfect meeting Place for a quality experience.
WE had booked a stay at the Grand Hotel and there was a 2 course meal in the deal.We started off with a drink and had a very good Gin & tonic. Our dinner was a starter - goat cheese baked in a small package of "Filodej" - sorry I don't know the English word for that - but very tasty. Our main course was Schnitzel with potatoes and peas - also very tasty. We enjoyed it very much, it was a busy night and the staff was very friendly.I can highly recommend it and would not hesitate to return. There are so many nice things on the menu I would love to try.

Famous chef Lisa Lemke took over a former vicarage in the rural area in Falkenberg and reconstructed the old garage into a lovely restaurant, seating about 50 guests. To pay tribute to the history, she named it "Prostens pizza" (The priest's pizza). They use local products from nearby farms and constantly adapts the menu, and they certainly serve delicious pizzas as well as a variety of yummy foods, drinks and deserts. Very cozy and personal, with the chefs waiting the tables themselves and hanging out with guests. It feels as if you're in their personal home, which it is. They are only open on weekends and fully booked 2 months in advance, so make reservations!

This hotel should be on when it is summer, it is situated on the beach and the beach is approximately 6 km long. A beautiful view and you shall bring his beloved on this trip. There are many who go there to just party. Falkenberg is a typical summer resort. Very beautiful. Do not forget to go to a green area called vallarna. Very beautiful. And hike along the Dr. promenaden which as the name that is the path that runs next to the river

Fantastic setting next to the sea, nice view and many good happenings during the summer. The food started very well with the first clues, we tried the matjessill and the skagen toast, very well balanced and rich on flavor! Main course we tried the cod which was a bit pale in flavor, but well cooked. The salmon had more flavor and it was a creative mix on the plate. For desserts we tried both elderflower pannacotta which was dense and not good. The strawberries didn't deliver either, since we lacked the rest of the components of the dish which was scarce. Fun and nice way to present though.

Great food and very nice service. I had a great stay for dinner. I strongly recommend their restaurant. A bit pricey though, around 400-500SEK for dinner. Great location in central Falkenberg as well!

Laxbutiken consists of both shop, restaurant and conference offering the largest salmon assortment in Sweden. We are located along highway E6 in Heberg, Halland and in Ljungskile, Bohuslän.
Staying close to Heberg in our holiday home we always visit this restaurant once or more times in each vacation. This year we were here twice and we had a great meal each time. The variety of salmon dishes and preparations is amazing and also what they sell in their store to take away is both plentiful and delicious. The combination of fresh new potatoes from Sweden with selected salmon dishes (cold or warm) is always a treat and considering the quality of what they serve here the prices are very reasonable. You also get free water or lemon water, bread, knäckerbröd, butter and to polish up the meal you can add cold drinks, coffee, tea and chocolates. Seating is inside in a very Scandinavian style eating room but in good weather sitting outside on the terrace is also nice. Cars & trucks are passing by but the glass fence keep the noise away quite a bit. They have a lovely set of meeting rooms, all with their own theme and besides in the summer period a special ice-cream shop is open for the dessert lovers. Always a treat and never dull. A truly great food experience.

This is a very ambitious restaurant located at the Falkenberg hotel and Spa. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne, and lead to a kitchen island where the chefs were cooking. Nice touch to let us see them work, and they really created small pieces of art in front of us. The restaurant is small with not a lot of tables, so the guests are very well taken care of. They served us a snack made from fried fish skin and pigs ear, which i did not find that exciting. But they also served us some delicious kanapees that was made right in front of us, and the chef presented the food himself. We had a nice mingle in the kitchen, before we were seated at the table. We had a 5 course meal with the recommended wines. The food was brilliantly presented, but all of them were a bit too salty for my flavour. One of the dishes was cod, and they have managed to bring out a very strong natural fish flavour that really impressed me! We also had a tenderized and dried entrecote, that is one of the best pieces of meat I have ever had! The sauce was delicious, but a bit too thin to be able to enjoy fully, since it was difficult to eat it. I would not want to lick the plate in a restaurant like this, but i was very tempted :) The reason I dont give this place a full score, is that i find the food to be generally too salty, almost dominating the flavour of especially the celeriac we got served as a second dish. It also took too long between the dishes, so from we arrived to we were finished eating, it almost took 3,5 hours. We had a nice experience from start to finish, but the waiting became an issue towards the end. I understand that they dont have that much of a capacity for serving, and that their cooking takes time, but they could have compensated the waiting with some "waiting dishes" of some sort, to keep the food experience going.Dear Andreas,Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I really enjoyed reading your review and I appreciate your feedback.Hope to see you again!PS. You are allowed to lick the plate in my restaurant :)
