We had reserved a table for dinner with our three kids. At first we were seated outside, but were attached by bees even before ordering drinks. Upon our request we were moved inside, but this was, as gauged by our waitress's attitude, not a welcome change of table. Once inside we ordered drinks and appetizers as a start. With the arrival of the food we were swarmed by bees. Our son is allergic to bee stings, so we decided to order the rest of the meal - pizzas - to bring with us. From here on the service practically disappeared and we ended up having to wait 50 minutes for the pizzas and the check while being completely ignored by the restaurant staff. We've eaten many places around Pula, Domus de Maria and Chia and can think of many places to go instead.

We've visited this restaurant on the basis of a suggestion from people we've met along our last holidays in Sardinia. Probably we'd have never got there, as the place is reacheable only through an off road track. But as usual surprises come unexpectedly, and in a very frugal location you discover ancient flavors and receipts!! Both in terms of non conventional food, the quality and the quantities this restaurant is amazing!!! Again I'm not giving here thanks stars only due to the basic restaurant setup typical of sea-side settlements.Definitely I'd suggest anyone which is aiming to discover sea-food based plates and open to discover new recipes.
First of all we have received an English menu so we ordered a meal. Afterwards they added random value to each one (about 2euros per dish) with an explanation that English menu is out of date. Secondly they added additional value for the service! Which is ridiculous. About 2euro per person. Food was OK, portions very small and not worth the price. Waiters very unpolite, especially the oldest one with a dark cherry hair or black. She always treated us like a intruders, because we were there 2 times, worse and worse each time. That is why We stopped eating there. It's unthinkable that customer should pay for restaurant mistakes.

Pizzas are quite OK, the Sardinian Focaccia was great! The rest looks rather like fast food low quality. Fries and sausages average. Mixed salad OK. Service was good though. Desserts are all pre made like from the supermarket so we didn't give any of those a try.Atmosphere ok

Note: Trattoria da Angelo does not accept credit cards, cash only.Aside from the cash only policy, Trattoria da Angelo is a fantastic Sardinian restaurant. The food was fresh, well prepared and properly seasoned. For "primo" the pasta with clams was very tasty, followed by the charcoal grilled sea bream which was perfectly cooked. Four in our group shared the seafood "Zuppa" which was not like soup at all but a large tray of superbly cooked seafood and fish... the best dish of the evening. The house red wine is good quality and a super value at 6 euro a liter... we tasted it before ordering and could find no fault. Primo is 10-12 euro per couple, mains range from 18-45 euro a person, the fish is most expensive as it is sold by weight. Dinner for our group of seven including primo, mains, wine and dessert came to 250 euros, pretty good value given the high quality of the food.Service was good, but mainly in Italian, English was a struggle. The restaurant had one English translated menu... Trattoria da Angelo is very much a local Sardinian restaurant. Highly recommended, best grilled fish I've had in Italy.

Didn't expect anything quite as good as this from a camping ground restaurant! Excellent pizza and really friendly service. Surroundings pretty basic, but the price reflected that...very reasonable! A local suggested we eat here and we are glad we did.

It is Ok, however, it sounds overrated for what is offered. Too many many people and not enough cool air. Prices are too high for the atmosphere and there is a hair in the raw fish salad. When I comment on this, the waiter reacted: "It is from the sea" ???

Was difficult finding a good affordable restaurant in the area after spending the day by the beach. Glad we picked this in the end, 5 mins drive, easy parking and nice restaurant with seating inside some out. The lady at the front was a bit off and showed us to a table next to the kitchen door despite restaurant being empty. We asked to change table and a nice waiter did so willingly. Rest of staff are friendly. Food was very nicely presented, tasty and good portions. Their pizza was delicious. Live music was a nice touch, would recommend.

This is a very sophisticated location, with great modern design. The fish Mediterranean menu is somehow short, although you may want to try the Japanese alternatives. We had good appetizers and main course, and desserts. All food is well prepared, and the service is attentive yet friendly. Maybe portions could be bigger and price could be lower, but nobodyâs is perfect...Dear Marco61Italy,Thanks for the nice review. We are happy that he enjoyed our Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine. We hope to have it back soon.Best regardsJada di MellaWhiteluna Manager
