Eleven of us ate here at lunch on a weekend excursion. We were beyond stuffed with excellent fresh salads, perfectly cooked local vegetable dishes, shrimp, catfish, barbeque ribs, homemade sausage, enchiladas, & more. There was a lot of plate sharing of great tastes. Obviously all the local folks eat at H&H Cafe, judging from the talk around us. Served buffet style. Oh, and giant doughnuts -- and cobblers, pies... Too good to miss.

this place is small and looks like an old DQ building - but the fried chicken is the BEST!! the chicken tenders are the biggest ones i have ever seen - and they really are tender!! decent prices and decent service. you walk up to the counter to order your food and then they bring it to you. really good sweet tea, too!

We wanted to treat our family to a nice Mexican food meal and got some good guacamole and sauce, but not much more. Our food came out over cooked and cold. The children wanted fish and fries and got overcooked and no ketchup! Get real, you are 2 blocks from a grocery store if you run out!!!
The final insult was the check, well over $20 more than you would expect from lunch specials. This place was pretty good before and I can only hope they will find a way to get back to that before they lose business forever.

I have eaten a lot of barbecue and this just didn't impress me. The little place wasn't much to look at but seemed to be clean and had plenty of business. The meat was cooked properly but just didn't have any flavor. Real barbecue must get its flavor from the smoke and not the sauce and this just didn't make it plus it was very greasy from apparently dipping it in the au jus which just made it worse. I may give it another chance later but I am not impressed.

A group of teachers decided to try out the little Chinese food restaurant for the first time. We were a bit nervous but had heard good things about it. The restaurant is nothing fancy and you seat yourself, but the buffet is great. They have just enough of a selection to please all visitors. The owner is so sweet and constantly checks on you. I know that I will be eating here again soon.

The waitstaff and kitchen staff were extremely loud. Hooting, yelling and having a good time. We came there for a quiet meal not Hispanic chatter. The girl cleaning the table was throwing the dishes in and actually made me jump twice. Food was just okay. Bring your ear plugs if you go there!

I ate here last weekend and it was pretty good. The owner has built the restaurant around a large oak tree, which creates a neat atmosphere. The place is clean and the food was really good. There are about 5 different choices on the menu. I had the chicken fajita taco and it was about $2.50. Make sure you bring your spanish hat as the menu is in espanol. I think they are only open Thursday-Sunday evening right now.
