Yamhill is a city in Yamhill County, Oregon, United States. Located in the northern part of the county, it is situated at the intersection of Oregon Route 47 and Oregon Route 240. The population was 1,024 at the 2010 census. Originally named North Yamhill, it was incorporated under that name by the Oregon Legislative Assembly on February 20, 1891.

Tinas opened in October 1991. The restaurant, which seats 55 guests, has a comfortable bar, and the two intimate dining rooms are divided by a fireplace. Like many of our fellow chefs, we believe that the best food is organically grown. Our search for these foods led us out of the city and into the countryside where we work closely with a great group of farmers. We're closer to the source of what goes onto your plate, and we believe that the opportunity to cook in a wine growing region lends our food a context and flavor and experience that is unbeatable. The menu is based on the foods that our farmer/neighbors grow: seasonal, and regional. Most of the wines that we feature come from just down the road. We are committed to using the best ingredients, and our menu changes as we move through the seasons of the year. Under New Ownership since June 13, 2015, Tina's continues to be a Wine Country Standard, not to be missed. Long time, veteran employees Dwight McFaddin (22yrs), and Michael Stiller (14 years) and their wives have re-energized the Restaurant and have lured back Chef Norma Buchholz (6 yrs) to create a new environment based on all that is best about Tina's and the Wine Country of Yamhill County.

We've probably been here about 5 times and it is always a great experience. Charming interior with a fireplace. Food is always excellent and inventive. Good wine selection and friendly staff.

They have kids size for only two dollars versus some places that charge four! Great service and very historic atmosphere feels like you went back a 100 years in time!

Went to Yamhill as they had advertised their farmers market! 4 stalls and an ice cream truck does not make a farmers market, so we meandered through the antique shop before hitting Trask for an early lunch. I went with the Panini Melt - Turkey, bacon, tomato, and Swiss cheese on focaccia bread. The tomato and bacon had been cooked together before they went in sandwich, and then the focaccia was toasted on the griddle - yes! A 3 napkin sandwich! The fries were average, but the sandwich more than made up for it. Good local Pinot Gris went really well with it. My navigator and better half had the small Asian Salad, which was good but over dressed, however, the Angry Orchard draft cider helped make up for it.
A real local spot and there were farmers discussing crops, including grapes, on tables near us. If you eat outside there is a nice view down the road to western hills.

We were quickly seated and greeted by our server. Allergy infomation was clear and the server was well informed. Fair sized portions for cost. Order several plates to share! My son and his friend love the churros with chocolate dipping sauce.

The baked goods here are wonderful. We had excellent shortbread cookies, macarons, and a variety of pastries perfect for breakfast the next morning, but my favorite purchase here was the walnut-raisin bread. A true OMG kind of bread for worshippers of great loaves. In fact, I brought a loaf home--I think I'll go make some toast right now!

I am a little biased because I get coffee here a lot. I appreciate how the house drip Coffee is old school tasty. Not burnt or "fruity", it has a nice nuttiness that many will appreciate and pairs well with cream and honey. Mmmm.
The Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie is just like a Toll House. Best G-Free cookie I ever met. I get them too often as they are "regular" with gluten tasty.

We were heading from the coast to Forest Grove and we were looking for a place to eat a late lunch/early dinner before our flight home. As we neared Forest Grove we were running out of options. Tripadviser lead us to this quaint restaurant.
The GPS sent us on dirt roads....and my husband was getting frustrated. Finally we decided we must be heading to a vineyard, which could be problematic since we do not drink alcohol. We continued on, and ultimately arrived at AgriVino, which is in the middle of farmland. The fall colors on the grapevines in the rolling hills is spectacular. The hills are ablaze in golds. If only the restaurant's windows faced the beauty of the area, instead of the parking lot.
On entering Agrivino we thought we were in a wine tasting room. There are a small number of tables in the center of the room, a wine tasting bar at one end, and wine bottles along a side wall. The restaurant is quite unique, and very relaxing. We were asked about reservations and we advised we were driving through the area looking for a quick bite to eat before dropping our daughter off at college and heading to the airport. We were told the tables were all booked, but since we were early, and only looking for a quick bite to eat, they could accommodate us before the tables filled.
It was Pizza and Gnocchi night. We enjoyed their l pizza of the day, a special cheese and salami, along with a pizza with prosciutto and asparagus. We ordered a bolognese gnocchi. While the friendly waitress recommended three dishes, in actuality one pizza and the gnocchi would have been enough. The gnocchi serving isn't large but it was enough for each of us to have a small portion. I don't usually like gnocchi, but I loved Dario's gnocchi. The pizza tasted just like in Italy. The crust was light and the tomato sauce wasn't overpowering. My daughter ended up taking home the left over pizza.
We were just about to pay the bill when Dario came over and I mentioned I felt like I had made a quick trip to Italy and the food was so good. He mentioned the wine in Italy and we advised we don't drink, instead we love to eat homemade Gelato. We learned they have a contract with a gelato maker and they recommended the Black Forest Gelato, triple chocolate and cherries. Oh my goodness it was heaven. My husband enjoyed Nutella gelato, and he said it was as good as our favorite gelato in Rome.
My husband was so glad he continued on the dirt road. We really felt as though we spent an hour in Italy. It was pure heaven.

I can't even remember eating such a delicious pie as the Marion Berry pie I purchased here! Also very good was the cinnamon raisin bread and the chocolate cup with chocolate creme and fresh berries! Best bakery in Yamhill county or Washington County!

We meet friends here at least monthly if not more for visiting and pizza. Yamhill is about equal distance from each of our homes. The owner is friendly and welcoming and the meun including many selections, not just pizza. The pizza, though is good and several sizes are offered. Well worth the stop if you are in the area around dinner time.

Four of us stopped by the Horse Radish based upon a recommendation from our B&B. We were not disappointed with our choice of the lunch special. As a matter of fact we enjoyed the butternut squash/apple soup so much, my wife made that same recipe upon our return home. Two of us had the corned beef sandwich which was delicious and brought back fond memories of New York. Coffee was excellent and not scalding as many restaurants serve their coffee too hot. The washrooms were clean and well maintained. Excellent choice for lunch and we would return.
