Named the "quintessential New England village," the town of Woodstock is chock full of charming Americana, including a covered bridge smack in the center of town and a village green surrounded by restored Georgian, Federal Style and Greek Revival homes. Spend a day wandering under the shade of 400-year-old hemlock trees at the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park and then revitalize yourself at Sugarbush Farm, where you can taste maple syrup or 14 varieties of cheese for free.

We loved this spot for a classic diner breakfast. We sat in the window looking out on the town and had a great time people watching as others went by. We had the "Mount Tom" and a breakfast sandwich (which was massive). Both dishes were delicious, filling, and reasonably priced.
Keep in mind this restaurant is CASH ONLY though there was an ATM inside.

A very nice cafe in the town center. Breakfast sandwiches were delicious- 2 fresh eggs- and French toast was perfect. They serve coffee and hot drinks in beautiful farmhouse pottery mugs. Pricier than what I normally spend on breakfast but very high quality.Hi Andrea! Thanks so much for the review! Happy to hear you enjoyed your breakfast (we're big fans of the French Toast too). Sam

Our restaurant was voted 10 Best Restaurants of 2016 by Forbes Magazine including Asia and Europe. Our Chef is a European Michelin Star trained chef. Our dining experience is one seating per night. We offer a wonderful intimate dining experience. Our restaurant is good for romantic dinners, special occasions, private parties and business dinners.
We had the four course prixe-fix dinner and it was beyond our expectations. The food was outstanding and the service just as wonderful. This is not for picky eaters, but if you are open minded and love good food, you will not be disappointed! You meet at 6.30 at the tavern where you see the menu for the first time, order your dinner wine and enjoy a pre-dinner drink. Then the feast begins. We each picked a different entree so we could try them both and they were both so good, we could not even pick a favorite. The wine list offers an option for every taste and every budget. There was nothing we would change and plan to come for the 7 course dinner and stay at the Inn on our next trip

Stopped by and picked up some different items including fried peanuts still in the shell. Very interesting taste. They say you can eat the shell. Not sure that taste good. lol Bought a few other items.

We went to dinner this past weekend on a Saturday evening. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our waitress was attentive and very helpful. Started with some of the black bean soup and empanadas. This was the highlight of the meal. They were great appetizers and we enjoyed. For the main course we both ordered the Piaia. It was a hearty size meal but it lacked a bit of flavor and spices that makes the meal a special one. Good but.... not quite the right mix for high end Mexican food in the mountains.
Drinks were good but... once again just seemed to be a bit off. Left full and content but satisfied (?).
Perhaps an off night It was ok and prices were within reason but not “ spectacular “.

This is our favorite restaurant in Vermont. We typically come here twice while visiting Woodstock. Service is outstanding and food is amazing. Reservations are encouraged.

Cloudland Farm offers farm-to-table dining right on the farm where many of the ingredients were grown. Everything is made from scratch and all ingredients are locally sourced. The menu changes daily. Dine by the fireplace during the winter, or come early and enjoy the porch before dinner during the summer months. BYOB. Reservations required.
Please note that they only open on weekend!
Long winding gravel road to get there but totally worth it.
Food is fresh and all grown in their farm
Check menu on internet and pick the day you prefer. Maybe concentrating in one item or fixed menu makes this even better. With many choices there will be hit and misses. Not here. From appetizer to coffee and dessert, everything was wonderful
( I also bought some of their beef jerky to take home and it is very good)

If you like noise, crowds pandora fast food, then the Worthy Kitchen is the place for you. Menu choices are listed on a blackboard. Once you place your order, you are given a buzzer which lets you know that your order is ready. I was with a large group, and it seemed like many items were ordered. The staff very kindly brought our food to the table. I must say that the salads and appetizers were delicious. The queso and chips had a tangy taste. The Mac and cheese was heavenly; what great comfort food. The salads were flavorful and the portions substantial. Carnivores and vegetarians can get a hearty meal at the Worth6 Kitchen.

Great food with amazing service... The grilled cheese and tomato soup was amazing, a full size sandwich and a large bowl of soup. Chicken salad wrap couldn't be fresher!!! Half wrap , soup and fries. Best fries around, thin and salty. Hamburger juicy served with fries. The kids meals are extra large portions. Chicken nuggets with fries and mac and cheese with a side. You will definitely take home food.
We had a great server !!! She was very good , away there with water and anything else we needed.

Open Daily Bar: 5pm - Close Dinner: 5pm - 9pm (Sunday-Thursday) Dinner: 5pm - 10pm (Friday, Saturday) The essence of Vermont and flavor-driven small plates are paired with a bar featuring local craft brews and spirits at Richardson's Tavern. A relaxed atmosphere invites warm conversation and friendly company among friends and family. Dine al fresco on the porch in the warmer months or sink into the oversized lounge chairs fireside for a casual drink or meal.
I’ve been to this restaurant twice and there has a been a wait both times. The hostess took our phone number to call when a table was ready. There are plenty of places to wait comfortably with a drink around the hotel.
The hotel has a butcher and all the meat here is very high quality. The chicken wings are delightful but messy. Sausage and kale soup was also very good.
Once the large family groups cleared out around 8:30 it was much quieter and would have been easier to get a table.
