This restaurant serves authentic Turkish cuisine and the food is very good. We went there to meet a couple of friends and we had a very enjoyable time. The cold appetizer sampler has something for everyone. The only spicy item was a pepper selection. The...MoreThank you very much!!!

You know when a place is good when you're not one for sweets, because they are usually loaded with sugar, not this place. Our daughter brought these home for my birthday and WOW, you will savour the flavor and love the freshness.

Like to start off by saying I finally ate at this restaurant because of Groupon. Groupon or not I would eat there again. So the food was 5 STARS the atmosphere and decor was 3 STARS (some of the chairs and furniture were quite worn). So I'm settling at a 4. We went on an off day (during the week) so we got immediate seating. Something I recommend for everyone. The staff was very nice and very FAST. They were attentive and like clock work got all of the condiments and everything out. I ate the Chicken Parmigana. Probably one of the top 3 Chicken Parmigana dishes I've ever eaten (cost was about $16-$17). My wife had a chicken dish as well and was very happy. My daughter had Raviolis. Highly recommend this place and was very surprised to see them looking for additional business on Groupon.

We arrived at lunch time at this recently (9/19/2015) opened restaurant. A hostess greeted us at the door and walked us to a booth. On being seated we received both food and drink menus with salsa and chips arriving shortly thereafter. We discovered the all day menu differs from the other (original) location further down the Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike with heavy emphasis on full dinners. Street tacos are not listed, but our waitress said they could be prepared with any of three types of meat so my wife and I each ordered two with pork. The meat in the tacos was abundant, but bone dry. In contrast to the tacos from the other location there was less onion and cilantro and no crema offered. Going forward we will be satisfying our craving for street tacos at the original restaurant.

With so many great options for fresh tasty grinders in town this one certainly runs in the competition. Pick your grinder and don't forget a side of their tortellini salad, marinated mushrooms or antipasto. Lunch is served!

What else is there to say? There used to be H&H in NYC & these. Now there is only Ami's left. Best bagels within a 500 mile radius. I asked my wife today what she had eaten since she got up early to take my daughter to her dance competition at the Palace ( I got there much later, after it had started). She said, "I had Ami's." "You drove over there?" "No. They're selling them at the concession stand." "Really?" I felt like Charlie Bucket when he found the golden ticket to the Wonka factory. Family & I have felt this way for years.

My client and I came to Frankie's for lunch. I wasn't really too hungry so I just purchased the soup. I was so pleased. It was very flavorful and piping hot, like you would expect on a chilly day, as well as, filling. If ou are looking quick and simple don't forget they have soups too.

We made sat night reservations on Friday for 6:30 for party of 4. It was 7:15pm and we had to keep asking when our table would be ready. Finally we got seated but in the bar where it was so loud and people all around us. Would think that these tables would be kept for walk ins. We were expecting a much more enjoyable evening. Food was good ( Tuscana salad was excellent) but when you can’t even have a conversation - why bother.
