This family-friendly, riverside brewery and gastropub serves a plethora of award-winning beers that perfectly compliment our delicious, local food. Nestled in the foothills of the North Cascades National Park, this destination brewery is a gem of a discovery in every season. We regularly feature live music and are the thriving heartbeat of the Methow Valley. At OSB, our focus is on quality ingredients--the choicest hops, perfectly malted grains, and our famously delicious Winthrop water, all overseen by our award winning Head Brewer, Kyle Koger. At OSB, we are more than just about the beer. We bring the community together, so authentic connections can be made. Come discover for yourself! We can't wait to get to know you. Cheers--" A full list of where we sell our ales outside of the Methow Valley can be found on our website.
Stopped by with some friends for a beer after an afternoon of cross country skiing. Even though the place was packed, the servers and bartenders went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. Great selection of beers; loved their IPAs. Will try to come back every time we visit Winthrop.

Delectable breads, pastries, Espresso drinks, sandwiches, salads and pizza....Featuring local ingredients, all handcrafted daily in Winthrop's favorite gathering spot!
Pretty average selection of baked goods, which turned out to be very dry. Coffee was ok, I asked for extra hot but they could not accommodate. It was a so-so visit but what really struck me was the lackadaisical attitude of the staff. I felt like I was a bother when I ordered our drinks. I was treated with disdain for asking for a lid for our coffees as I didn’t see they were in the back in a dark corner. I can overlook mediocre offerings as this is a small town, but nasty attitudes I can not.

I stood for two nights in Winthrop. Sheri's Sweet Shop I visited daily to have my espresso in the morning and lunchtime.
Late afternoon I enjoyed my Milkshake.
They also do have over 20 flavor of house made ice cream and different Schokolade Sweeties.
It's a place to enjoy and take a break.

I was very surprised at how good this pizza is. It is excellent pizza. We got our pizza to go because they were closing in 20 minutes, Pizza is so good we are going back tomorrow. Only in Winthrop for 2 days. Lived in Italy for years so I am really surprised when pizza is this good. Lucky Winthrop.

Great place for coffee in the morning! Each morning, I was in Winthrop I had a triple shot 16 oz non-fat latte and it kept me going all day! My wife had the Americano with an extra shot and really liked it as well!
The lady that served us each day has a fabulous memory and remembered how we liked our coffee from the day before even though we are tourists. Very impressive!

3 Bears Cafe is a friendly place to relax. Come have a fresh cup of locally roasted Blue Star Coffee or a cold beer or wine as you sit and enjoy the beautiful Methow River. If you love to quilt enjoy our lovely fabric selection and unique gifts.
We stopped here for breakfast because of the quilt shop. We ordered Caprese Omlettes which were innovative and delicious and topped with fresh tomatoes and arugula. The quilt shop was also wonderful with beautiful selections of fabric artistically arranged.Laure, Thank-you for your kind words. So glad you enjoyed the food and fabric. 3 Bears Staff

This is a company that sells beans and they do all their roasting at this location. You can buy beans but you can not get a cup of coffee. Come and learn about their beans....DELISH!...just don't be disappointed if you can't get drinks on the premises.

I love that this restaurant tries to source local ingredients, it shows that they care about the food they serve. We had 2 of the best meals we've had in the area. The scallops were huge and perfectly cooked so they just melted in your mouth. It was served on top of a creamy polenta and an amazing sauce. The duck breast was also perfectly cooked and paired with a tart local huckleberry sauce. I highly recommend both dishes. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer or more attentive even though she was busy.

This is essentially a saloon with a thriving restaurant. We had two kids hankering for burgers and fries. 3FJ served up just what we ordered. Everything was tasty and the service was reasonable. Price was what we expected to pay for this location in the heart of the tourist area. Dessert (cake) was a little dried out (probably would have been fine a la mode).

Carlos1800 Mexican Restaurants east 2010 What a journey, as a restaurant we're proud to say that you are the reason to improve the way we prepare our Mexican-Yucatecan food and the ingredients that go into it. And it just so happen when we keep our feet on the ground and the near-perfect Equilibrium between forward thinking and restrain to achieve the future We’re really after- THE ONE WITH YOU ON IT! Thank you CARLOS
Fifteen of us were visiting Winthrop so we opted for Carlos 1800 for dinner because they were terrific at accommodating our crowd. Portions are HUGE so I would highly recommend sharing. The average price for an entree is $15+ so be prepared to spend quite a bit of money for Mexican food.
