Stopped for lunch as I had read previous reviews. Service was friendly and fast. Food was very good and reasonable. we were stuffed but after hearing someone else talking about the cinnamon rolls, we took then to go for a snack later, so glad we did, they were terrific! Would definitely go back when in the area.

The Creemee Stand is a seasonal roadside stand located along Vermont's Scenice Route 100 in Wilmington, VT. Delivering premier freshly made soft serve custard that is so wonderfully dense and creamy in texture; it cannot be matched. (Custard is similar to ice cream, but better...Google it!) Hard scoop ice cream is also available in a variety of delicious flavors, produced by the oldest manufacturer of ice cream in the State of Vermont, Wilcox Dairy. A wonderful medley of frozen desserts, toppings, cone dips, low fat and sugar free alternatives offer something for everyone.
Very good ice cream, selection, great portions and value. Service was good and friendly. Nice location and parking, looking forward to going there again when I stay in Vermont.

Cappuccino, spaghetti, mocha beans... The little Coffee House gave us an unexpected surprise. It is on the side of Route 9, just east of Wilmington VT (Molly Stark Trail). We were travelling and could use some coffee to stay alert. We ordered cappuccinos, and the lady began to make them. It needed some time; she does not have the fancy equipment Starbucks has. All the while, she was chatting with me and another customer, which gave a feeling of being among friends. When the (organic) cappuccinos were ready, she offered us mocha beans with them, for free. The stirs were spaghetti sticks and I have never seen stirs so biodegradable!
The taste of the cappuccinos was excellent, as they had that secret ingredient that only a calm preparation will give: love.

The folks here have created a beautiful space, downstairs in the main dining area and upstairs in the ultra, industrial chic lounge. The service was top notch and the food was superb. Highlights from our visit include an earthy, sublime mushroom bisque; as well as a terrific gnocchi with cheese. The meat entries may be a bit too pricey and the meat portions too large (eg, a 16oz steak) but the restaurant easily accommodated our request to have 2 of the 4 us share the steak (although a fee for such sharing was charged). Perhaps the restaurant could reconsider these things because they distract from an otherwise perfect evening and meal.

In a recent visit to Mount Snow, we found this gem of a seafood restaurant. The dishes seem fairly traditional with an Italian influence (like fra diavolo, pasta sides, etc.), and are well prepared. I was very pleasantly surprised to find steamer clams on the menu, and these did not disappoint. The New England clam chowder was a bit bland and thicker than some might like, but was nevertheless quite good. The service was very good despite the restaurant being extremely busy. If you like seafood, this is one restaurant in Wilmington that you must try.

Was passing through Wilmington around lunch time and saw their sign. Looked OK so stopped in. Was very pleasantly surprised at the wide variety of menu items available. Ordered a veggie wrap which was one of the best I've had anywhere and service was fast. It's strictly a walk-up to the window place with picnic tables in the yard. Rest room was clean. Plenty of parking. Will stop again when in the area.

Chef-owned 14 seat dinner restaurant, offering an eclectic wine list and an intimate and romantic dining experience for mature patrons.
Went w/friends for dinner, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The service was professional (the wife of the owner/chef) and descriptions were accurate in terms of ingredients and preparation. We had the octopus, the quail and the rabbit, and we cleaned the plates thoroughly. Wine selection was small but very good and prices reasonable.

Sonny's has a nice staff and a good basic menu with fair prices, but it could do with a bit of sprucing up after all these years - the excavations in the parking lot might be filled, the interior spruced up a tad, the worn through tiles replaced and the place made to keep up with the basics sorta like its prices going up.
Well Sonny's is getting a new roof. What's next?

Charming looking spot. Open till 6 PM on Sundays but, by 5:20, the back, with comfortable seating and charm, was closed. Fortunately the weather was good so we were able to sit outside. Key ingredients for both sandwiches we wanted to order were not available. What we had was OK (the fresh roasted Turkey tasted like what you would get in a grocery store); the bread was excellent. OK in a pinch, but not somewhere to plan to go back to.

It's an old house, not particularly elegant, but "cute". We were passing through on a lazy evening, not in a rush. Good selection of beers; the hard cider is weak. Chicken sandwich was good. Fish sandwich was okay. Pleasant place, nice server.
