Gyro's are huge, taste is awesome, price is minimal! The Pita Maria is usually pretty good (can sometimes be hit or miss). The grape leaves are also usually pretty good (also can sometimes be dry). The service is usually fast friendly and efficient. Cash only....yet I'm sure they'd constantly be banging if the accepted cards!

Since my wife has been pregnant she craves blizzards. Every time we order a blizzard she gets extra stuff put in it. They simply "forget" but not when they are charging for it. Last one we had she was half way threw it before we realized she had the wrong one. Customer service = horrible. Go to another location

I have a weakness for longstanding, family-run businesses and Woody's checks that box. Their food is always good, staff is attentive, but the food can seem overpriced for their portions. I do recommend their stuffed cabbage!

Specialing in fresh pasta
Wow. It's been a while since I was blown away by something as simple as pancakes. They turned this simple meal into a decadent dish. The pancakes were fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside. The French toast was amazing and the apples were cooked to perfection! Seriously good and spent about $40 for two including the tip. Definitely will go back and can't wait!

Stopped here for lunch during our biking trek on the Great Allegheny Passage. A tea room and gift shop 300 feet off the trail in this small burro of Boston PA. They serve lunch only, sandwiches and soup and a few sides. I would call them gourmet sandwiches served simply. Chicken, beef, lobster cake, tuna and pork were offered. All four of us had a different serving and all were great. Strangely enough the green beans were outstanding. Great hospitality. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the nice weather.

This is another McKeesport survivor. Back in the 1970s, Minerva Bakery anchored a fourteen block stretch of fine urban shopping. Almost all its former neighbors are long gone, but family-owned Minerva is still there, an island of cheerfulness in what is almost a ghost town. When I walked in recently after decades away, the smell of my childhood greeted me like one of Proust’s madeleines. They don’t sell madeleines here, but, even better, every day they bake the kinds of cookies that are a Pittsburgh area tradition. You will also find pies, eclairs, bread, rolls, and fancy decorated cakes. Everything is made by hand and the selection varies daily, as well as seasonally. Come early in the day if you want something special. Items sell out. You can park right out front, which is a good thing, because the neighborhood is worse than iffy.

Tillie's is a Family Owned independent Italian Style Restaurant that has been serving Homemade Italian and American foods for over 55 Years. Pasta is Hand Made in house and is the Signature Food for most patrons. Our Homemade Spaghetti, Fettucini, Lasaga, Ravioli, and Gnocchi are our customer favorites. In addition we have wonderful Italian Entrees styles such as Parmigiana, Romano, Marsala, Piccata, Alfredo, and Milanese. Our Pizza is a thick crust style with infinite choice of toppings. Most favorite is the Meatball Pizza. Seafood Entrees such as Crab Cakes, Lobster and Crab Gnocchi, Salmon and Cod are also favorite choices. A New and Unique entrée is Pork Palena, our own special entrée. Our Codfather Fish sandwich is a crowd pleaser. It's Huge!! Prime Rib on Frday and Saturday. Homemade Soups. What more can we say??
While the City of McKeesport de-industrialized and collapsed around it, Tillie’s Restaurant has remained a local institution. For almost fifty-five years it’s been a traditional Italian-American red sauce restaurant. Its large menu can be customized. Pick a pasta. Pick a sauce. Add a meatball or two. The meat and seafood dishes are excellent, as are deep-fried, breaded pepper rings, and soups like Pittsburgh’s speciality, wedding soup. This cheerful family favorite can accommodate both large groups and single diners. Sit back and relax. The service can be slow.

Usually purchased cakes from here frequently. They have significantly gone up in price over the years. Last one we bought tasted like it was a week old! Poor quality!, but pretty looking cakes

I my opinion this is what pizza should taste like. I have not tried any other menu items, but I am sure they are great. The staff is always pleasant, the restaurant is clean, and the service is spot on. Much better than the other Italian restaurant in white oak. Seating is pizzeria style not formal and you can watch them spinning the dough.

I'm originally from the Mon Valley, and make it a point to come back to eat here whenever I return. All the Italian classics are available here, and are invariably well prepared and served promptly. I concede I've been spoiled - between this place, Woody's, and Casa di Amore in Las Vegas, any other Italian restaurant is a letdown.
