Always wanted to try this place so daughter and I headed there on a Saturday around 11:30 am - crazy busy! Upon entering a leaving customer said, "Think the rooster is angry today," which made me nervous. Signed up at the counter and was told 45 minutes to an hour, which was fine since I could go to a couple stores first, and we could track our time on a tracker on a Yelp app. Super easy. Very nice waitress and timely with our order. Daughter was extremely impressed with the bacon and her chocolate chip pancakes. I enjoyed eggs overeasy, toast, bacon and their red potatoes (which weren't my favorite, but many enjoy). I'd go again - but not if in a rush.

Looking for the "Land of Milk and Honey"? You will find celestial cheesecakes and divine morning buns at Simma's Bakery. Of course, you will find many other heavenly delicious dessert items and wonderful wholesome fresh baked bread there too, but it's nice to know you can always find a little slice of "Heaven" at 68th & Wells in Tosa.

Le Reve is a classic French bistro in the heart of the village of Wauwatosa. Le Reve offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with a beautiful display of traditional French pastries.
Once again..another beautiful evening with a delicious meal. My esteemed spouse and I had eaten here before with family, and we all celebrated a reunion by eating here again. Almost everyone had a beef dish and they were all extremely satisfied. I, on the other hand, had the world's most delicious entree..the sweet potato ravioli...and I'm so glad I did! It was delicate yet filling, delicious and interesting, and I was sad when they were gone! The desserts are beautiful, but my " dream dish" if you will, was the ravioli. Try it..bon appetit!

First of all, I have to say that this is my second review for this restaurant. The first was about 3 months ago and for dinner. This review is from this past week for lunch. I met a couple of my friends at Double B BBQ for lunch. I had raved about this restaurant to them and to the readers of this restaurant's review through Trip Advisor. The three of us ordered three different meals, one had the Brisket of Beef, another had the Combo of Burnt Ends and Kielbasa (Polish Sausage). I had the half rack of Baby Back Ribs. We shared a little and wow -- all were just sensational. My Baby Back Ribs were like eating the Prime Rib of Pork! I have never had ribs as good as these and they were oh so moist and tasty. I love Baby Backs and these though the size of St. Louis ribs are as tender as it gets. Lots of meat unlike some of those places that have all bone and no meat. The Burnt Ends were outstanding and while being a Milwaukee native and used to Kielbasa in a somewhat large population of Poles in the Milwaukee area, these sausages which are also freshly smoked, tasted as good any I have had and the sides, Cold Slaw and Baked Beans were a great compliment. We came on a Friday for lunch at noon. By 1:00, the place was packed. The bar stools were full too for the overflow who couldn't get a table. This place is doing really well. The food is outstanding, but so is the wait staff. The owners have a really good crew working here and it shows. I can't wait to get back again. If you like BBQ, this is the place. If you love BBQ, You have to come here! You will not be disappointed. The food is great, the place is clean with a really nice décor and with the warm feeling of a BBQ restaurant. Yes, they have sandwiches of the pulled pork and much much more. Prices are definitely in line with the quantity and size. What more can I say? Ok, I will say more --- this is the 5 star of BBQ in the world!!! I hope you all enjoy this place as much as I did!
And, this is not an advertisement. Check out my other reviews. I tell it like it is. I don't like some places and I say so! This place however, is one of the best!

I met a friend here for breakfast yesterday. I know locals like it a lot. I had a pancake, fruit and a slice of ham. The food was good but not wonderful. One of the apple slices was completely mealy/soft. The grapes weren't in great condition either. There should be some combos on the menu for people who don't eat eggs. I chose an egg combo and had the fruit substituted for the egg. Pleasant atmosphere.

Blue's takes a fine dining approach to classic American brunch, all week long. Old World ingredients and techniques inspire modern breakfast and lunch dishes. Blue's is available for private events in the evening.
Blue's egg is always busy so expect a wait no matter when you go. The menu has many unique and delicious offerings, so get on your adventurous side. The Stuffed browns are an excellent choice and my favorite if the Hopple Poppel bowl.(scrambled eggs, cream, zesty sausage, bacon, caramelized onion, shredded potatoes, spinach, hollandaise, toast) . Whatever you order, I suspect will be a pleasant surprise

Busy Saturday around noon. Le Reve was our first choice but too long of a wait. Ordered drinks and quiche and a breakfast plate. Reasonable prices, I guess...egg, bacon, toast and hash browns for $9.99. Other lunch of quiche was quite dough-ey. Had to ask for jam. Awfully noisy! Not really conducive to discussion. Was there music? Windows were awfully dirty and floor was sticky. Guess I won't have a meal at a beer bar again...

Juniper 61 serves comfort food using unusual ingredients. Like wild boar instead of ground pork. We had a party of five with five different entrees. Everyone was pleased. I had beef short ribs meat with porgies and a Cesar dinner salad. Perfect amount of food. Our waiter suggested the salad based upon the entree size. Nice selection of beers and wine. Service was fine but waitstaff needs to learn to pick up empty glasses and plates when they check on tables.
