Do not travel through or near Waupun without stopping at Guth's End of the Trail. They have amazing treats to offer. There is something to please everyone, from coffee, tea, popcorn, ice cream, and of course candy and most importantly...chocolate!!!! There are even crafts and other artsy, gift-type items for you to browse. The chocolate and popcorn are my faves but don't take my word for it. Go try it all! I highly recommend the cheese and caramel popcorn, and the sea salt caramels, and turtles. My kids (now in their 20's) love the peanut butter cows! Lots to choose from for great gift ideas and party treats. They even wrap for free!

I ordered for delivery to a local motel and the pie was delivered very quickly (seemed like 20 minutes) and the pizza was very substantial (heavy with thick cheese and good toppings). My only complaint is that it was hard to pull a slice off without a knife to cut the cheese. But a good pizza at a fair price.

Some years ago the establish that preceded this one was highly memorable for their home-made pies. OK, time marches on. The Goose Shot has an average/so-so menu - mostly the usual frozen to be fried and served... stuff. However, their 'brosted' - that's how their menu spells it <smile>, chicken was very good. It was served hot and moist with a nice batter that was neither too much or too little. For my liking they got it just right. though I did add a touch of salt and pepper.

Simple, straight-forward place on the western edge of Waupun. Unfortunately, Helen's is located in what appears to be a dying strip mall, but don't be dissuaded by that. The restaurant is very food. We particularly enjoyed the pot roast and the homemade vegetable noodle soup (superb). Service was friendly and inviting. Prices very reasonable.

Very nice restaurant, friendly staff. Had the fried lobster and the House Special tenderloin and lobster over wild rice, just incredible! and the house salad was huge with homemade croutons, we will return!

We have been to Pizza Ranch several times but this is our first review.
We saw that for the week of Apr. 24th to the 28th Pizza Ranch of Waupun was celebrating their 10th Ann. So with another couple we decided to give it a try. They had a special price for their evening buffet. We arrived about 5:30 and we waited about 15 min. outside and another 15 inside till we made it to the cashier. Not to bad considering the crowd. All the staff was friendly and kept the food coming. They had their usual buffet of soup and salad bar, lots of different pizzas, GREAT chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, cheesey bread, and a nice variety of veggies, desert pizza and delicious ice cream. On Friday night they have fish on the buffet also. It's all you can eat for 1 very fair price. We like going when they are busy as things are fresher. Staff kept the place clean and buffet well stocked. THANKS for the fun party Pizza Ranch and hope your around another 10 years.

Quick fast service with reasonable prices seems to their hallmark. Enjoyable dinner with extensive listing of Mexican dishes.

Their specials are excellent only matched by the great service of the hardworking bartenders who make out of town guests feel very welcome

It may look typical, Chinese fast food within a strip mall, but there is no better Chinese within 20 miles. I especially enjoy the egg drop soup on a cold day. It has the most delicious color and it must be the local eggs they use. All food comes out hot, hot, hot. You can see the kitchen and it is very clean.

I've found Culver's to be consistent from location to location across the board and when you're in an area like Waupun, WI - where the 'local' options are sorely lacking [seriously], you're far better off with a 'butter-burger', some fried Cod, a chicken-sandwich or whatever appears on their menu that such as is on offer at the 'local' establishments.' Let's face it, the restaurant business is a darn tough one and it appears nearly impossible - for a host of reasons, to operate a viable independent restaurant in or near Waupun. Waupun's - essentially, a culinary wasteland. Whether the Brittain, Goose Shot, Coffee Cup Cafe, et al; you're FAR better off eating at Culver's or one of the other national / franchise brands. If you're staying at somewhere like the recently built/new AmericInn in Waupun, have breakfast in the hotel - you'll not find better in town. I'm only sorry that Culver's is a Pepsi-tied establishment {I preferring Coke}; but, the iced tea is fine and they'll give you lemon-wedges - if you ask at the counter [no charge].
