The south Santa Cruz County region of Watsonville and Pajaro Valley boast pristine beaches and a Mediterranean climate. Birders flock to the miles of trails around the Wetlands of Watsonville. Nearby, the Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Reserve is one of California's last undisturbed wetlands and is ideal for bird watching. An annual Birding Festival, the Strawberry Festival, a weekly farmer's market, Watsonville Plaza, and the Agricultural History Museum are sights not to be missed.

This place is always busy. When you see police officers frequent a place, you know it's either good, safe or both. It's all of the mentioned, plus great food and service. I've never had to wait for servers to come around because they all look out for each other's tables. I love this place.

We got several doughnuts for breakfast from Top Donuts. The person helping us threw in a glazed doughnut as an extra for us. That was very kind of her and ended up being one of our favorite doughnuts that we got that day. The texture and taste of that doughnut and the other was excellent.

The cafe is across the street from the Civic Plaza where City & County offices are. We had lunch there. Our sandwiches & chips were very good. The menu is limited to sandwiches & salads. The service was good.

Nice choice of entrees here- from fresh fish to pasta and good appetizers.
Oak grilled artichoke is delicious. Caesar salad crisp and good. Sand dabs Picatta delicious. Special of day was Halibut and it was a bit overcooked & dry for my taste. Eggplant calamari very good.
Service was fast & friendly and attentive.
Good for lunch or dinner, this place is worth the stop. Also has full bar and wine pour is generous.

Great place for a quick authentic Japanese lunch. Their lunch combos (Box Lunch) are excellent. Great tasty food for a reasonable cost. I do not eat Sushi but both my adult sons do and they just love this place. When I invite them out for dinner they always want to go to Miyuki Restaurant.

In the tradition of El Palomar Santa Cruz, Cilantros has set a standard in Mexican cuisine by combining authentic homemade recipes from the sunny state of Michoacan in Southern Mexico, with the unique abundance of locally grown produce and fresh caught seafood available in the Monterey Bay.
We enjoyed a tasty dinner (and near-perfect margaritas) at this colorful and simpatico restaurant. From crispy warm chips (totopos) dipped into a zingy fresh salsa to the skirt steak strips and pork carnitas and the flan, everything clicked. Service was charming. If we lived here we would probably become regulars.

If you like to eat where the locals do, then Beach Street Cafe is your place. Get there early and be patient as there may be a line to get into this tiny eatery. If you don't like grease, stay out of this kitchen, cause this in diner food before they were called diners. Great breakfasts and lunch place, no dinner cause they close between 1-3 depending on the day and mood. They don't need you... you don't want to miss them!

This is a great place to eat and the staff was very friendly. We ordered delicious pancakes and a hamburger with fries. The hamburger was one of the best, however the fries were not so good-- they tasted like the oil they had been cooked in was "off", or old, or something. Maybe it was a one-time thing, but we won't be ordering the fries again. I definitely recommend eating there, though.
