This is a wonderfully clean and well run mom and pop place. We had lunch and a ice cream treat and were welcomed and fed well. Best in town! Burgers are juicy and fries are hot and tasty.

A busy bakery, only down a star because of the early closing hours... of course they're usually sold out by then, so arrive early for fresh awesomeness! Call a day ahead for a custom order, I do whenever it's my turn to deliver the goods at the office.

Ownership changed lately and the service has remained exceptional! I once had to wait in line for longer than normal (due to a slow customer, not from their service) and was given a free drink for my trouble. Not many places will do that these days! Fair prices and great coffee! Make sure and stop by and support a small town "scooters" style shop!

Closer to authentic Mexican food than the Americanized version we're introduced to at TacoSomething. Enjoy well prepared, delicious food, served by timely, polite staff. The chips and salsa are awesome, and the portions are generous. Only gets a four out of five because, well, it isn't served from Mama's kitchen.

Rezac's is a great home town cafe with home made specials daily. Be prepared to eat the best chicken dumpling soup ever and some delicious home made pie. They also serve dinners and have wing, burger, and Italian night.
This used to be one of our favorite Restraunts to come to. We started coming here 26 years ago when we moved out here from Chicago area. The food and service gets worse each time we come now. Decided THIS will be our last chance for improvement. Our waitress did not even know about the menu items. Don't waste your time or money. Is a real shame to see such a great place turn into a dump.

Every time we go to RK's Bar & Grill we enjoy the very small town atmosphere of the bar. Usually Keith, the owner, waits on us and always stops for a moment to just say hi and see how we have been doing. The beer and pop are always good and cold. We love the carpet. It comes with a slice of rye bread, the carpet on top, home sliced fried potatoes, coleslaw, and tarter sauce. Always so good! It is made usually on Fridays so you had better come early if you want some, when it's gone it's gone. You may have to wait some for your meal but you won't be disappointed.

Jeris makes the best everything! It is all homemade and the portion sizes are large. She loves Nebraska football as there is tons of pictures, etc all over. Jeris makes her food with love.

Service is spotty. Food is decent. Few times I've been in the girls they have working were more interested in gossiping with each other and less interested in focusing on customers.

Places like this are a treasure of Americana! Am I giving this place a 5 because it's comparable to the fanciest restaurants in New York City or L.A. or London or Paris or wherever? Of course not. Am I giving this place a 5 because the physical condition of the facility is worthy of some sort of modern design award? Of course not. But intimate, historical, family run cafes are the backbone and treasure of cities and towns all over the world, especially small towns. It's obvious that the owners of the Wigwam have put money and thought and love into the upkeep of the cafe to the delight of everyone except maybe chronically cynical critics. One wall of the cafe is original brick, and the other wall is matching artificial brick. Even the bathrooms are done in matching artificial brick! (In the interest of accuracy, the bathrooms rate only a 2 or 3 for modernness.) The service is excellent. The food is very good. (The apple wood smoked bacon is the stuff of dreams!) Probably the strangest thing is a huge artificial bird's nest hanging near the front of the cafe. Anyone over 6' 2" will have to duck under it. Recommendation: Check out the opening history of the place. It's a wonderful story. Is the Wigwam a Denny's or an Applebee's or a Ruth's Chris, etc.? No, but those places have zero individual history and cookie cutter ambience.
