My husband and I visited with 2, 7 year old grandchildren. We were taking a break from the national eagle center. My husband had a skillet breakfast and rated it as good. My chicken salad was average. We were disappointed with the size of the children's French toast meal. One small piece of French toast and one strip of bacon. Both children were still hungry after finishing their meal. We had to order both of them more food. Service was good.

This place is a little bit of everything. They sell Native American things that are done by Native American artists. They have drinks. They all kinds of chocolate. They have warm nuts. They have ice cream and cookies. It seems what ever took the owner's fancy he sells. He also a good salesman as well. I do recommend this place to at least stop by and see. They do have seating as well.

We stopped in to buy an ice cream cone as this shop is well known for it's dairy products. We were pleasantly surprised to find a cafe for lunch, wine shop, cheese shop and gourmet gift/food items. It is lovely to look around and we found several products and brands we had purchased in Europe. We had sea salt caramel ice cream. The texture of the ice cream was nice and smooth. We could taste the salt, but there was almost no caramel flavor at all. We paid $2.50 for one scoop and $3.00 for two scoops. The was a line to use the restroom. They have one stall for women and one stall for men. We waited at least 15 minutes in line, so be prepared if waiting is a problem for you.

We struggled a bit to find this small restaurant, and almost drove by but once we found it we were delighted. A taste of small-town mid-west. Wonderful coffee-shop with a great variety. Relaxing, quaint, and very friendly people. There is also a bit of a store attached so do a bit of exploring.

Reads Landing Brewing Company is an American Pub and Brewery. Our menu offers a wide variety of appetizers, flatbreads, salads, entrees and desserts. In addition, we have homemade soup and weekend specials that are always a favorite. Our beer is handcrafted and brewed on site. We offer 5 of our handcrafted beers on tap,one guest tap beer that changes frequently and a variety of craft bottled beer and cider. We have a full bar which includes some commercial beers and a broad wine selection. We are located right on the river which gives us beautiful views and bald eagle sightings year round. Outdoor seating is available in the summer months. We hope to see you soon!
I was traveling in the area with a local resident and he suggested we stop here. What a place! Beer was good, menu was varied and reasonably priced and service was good. Love the ambiance. Especially enjoyed the St. Louis-style toasted ravioli as an appetizer. I'll be back.

We went there for dinner recently. Their smoked food is wonderful and they have a great selection to choose from. They actually have a smoker in the back of their restaurant. That isn't that common in Wisconsin. If you are in the area, please stop in and check it out

Stopped at the Harbor View Cafe in Pepin, WI on Friday for lunch. We were there at 5 minutes to 11 am - they were open at 11. The place filled up almost immediately, the locals obviously know what a fantastic find this is. Lots of wonderful seafood on the menu, an impressive wine list for a place this size and at reasonable prices and tasty deserts.

We serve breakfast and lunch and are knowen for our omelets, potato pancakes and all our smoked meats and fish
We've ate here a few times over the last 15 years. Every time has been phenomenal. We were there again last week and everything was just as awesome as remembered.
Omelettes are great. Pancakes are really good. And the smoked pork is AMAZING! I know it's not normal breakfast food but it really can't be beat. The view of the Mississippi is beautiful and it's so neat to watch the barges and trains from your table.
It's a must stop anytime we are in the area!

This is a small place. There's about 4 rectangle high top tables a small booth area (everyone sits very close to one another) and the bar. There was one waitress who also served as the bar tender. She was very fast and efficient. We waited for nothing. The prices were decent. $9.25 for the hand dipped battered fish and chips. (freshly sliced potatoes) The fish and chips were excellent. They charge 25 cents for an extra cup of tarter sauce. The bangors and mash was also $9.25 and was good. Note the prices on the posted tripadvisor menu are off. Burgers were in the $7-8 range. Great food and great service!

Mid afternoon mid week this place is surprisingly busy. Most people seem to know each other. It has a great view of the Mississippi River though you could not tell that from the parking lot. The coke had good amount of syrup and sweet flavor. We did not try the ice cream but many other people did and seemed to be well satisfied.
