I have eaten here weekly for approximately 3 years. The food and service are fantastic. The prices are very reasonable and you can bring in your own wine or liquor. I have never had a bad meal. They provide the best service and the staff is friendly.

This is a very good mexican restaurant. Sometimes the service is slow but the food is great. The Molcajete is the best. It can feed 3-4 people. It has grilled steak, chicken, shrimp & chorizo with onions tomatoes & green peppers.. Very good value lots of food.Another awesome dish which will easily serve 4 is the Parrille Taptie for 2. Believe me it will serve 4 & you might think it is pricey $25.99 but when you see all the food you get it is a bargain. It comes with steak chicken shrimp, pork with tomatoes, green peppers & onions. along with choriqueso dip. 2 cheese quesadilla (mmmm),& 2 sides of rice , refried beans guacamole, lettuce tomatoes sour cream. they cook their pork sooo good.

Has very good fries and hamburgers. I also like the club sandwhich. The price is a little more than what you will pay for a drive thru but there's not much out here in greenback to choose from. Definitely not any drive thrus. We eat here a lot. Friendly staff

We've lived less than 30 minutes from Greenback for over seven years, and I'd never been there until yesterday. Someone mentioned this small restaurant to me so we drove through the backroads of East Tennessee to try it.
I'm certainly glad I did. Nothing fancy, filled with locals for lunch, but the food was awesome! I had a hamburger steak that was cooked to perfection, and there's something about a hamburger that's cooked on a grill that's probably 50+ years old...it just tastes better somehow.
The town of Greenback has a backwoods charm, and unless you were going there intentionally, you'd never stumble across it because of it's location and size. I will definitely return to this little gem of a restaurant to try some of the other dishes, especially breakfast, which is rumored to be the best around.

Frankly, the food was just not that good. Wife had pizza; daughter had a large salad. Neither were that impressed. Family atmosphere enhanced by a large party having a birthday party for a little girl. Not a problem at all. Just know there is nothing quiet about the place if you think you are going to have a conversation. I know other write-ups have been positive. Just saying for some that this was not our experience.

We just discovered the Lakeside Grill after driving by several times. It's location right in the lake makes it a great little date night placeor a great family afternoon lunch place. The food is great, watching the boats come in is great and feeding the fish off the dock is a bonus. You can even feed them your leftover fries!!

We’d been to Genovese's once before not long after they’d opened but it wasn’t a great experience. Their pizza oven wasn’t functioning and we weren’t crazy about our pasta based meals. However, significant time had passed and I heard some feedback on this restaurant and it was quite positive. It was time for us to give it another look!
The dining area is pretty basic…about what one would expect for a local Italian pizza restaurant. Everything was clean and orderly and the staff was helpful and friendly. We witnessed quite a bit of take-out business while we were having our dinner. The pizza ovens are right up front so we could watch what was going on…
Genovese’s isn’t all about pizza. We noted 13 entrees, all including a side salad and 2 garlic knots…with prices ranging from $5.99 to $11.99. The selection of 14 sandwiches go from $6.49 to $8.49 plus $1.50 if you’d like French fries with that. Desserts include 3 Italian specialties. The other page of the menu includes a couple of unexpected “Starters” such as Mussels ($9.99), Macaroni and Cheese Wedges ($5.29) and Zucchini Sticks ($4.99) In addition to the various pizza selection, Calzone and Stromboli are offered.
My wife is from St. Louis, the “home of fried ravioli”! So, when she saw a Four Cheese Fried Ravioli (6 ravioli per order) on the menu, she had to try Genoveses' version. ($4.49) The fried ravioli contains asiago, ricotta, Romano and mozzarella cheeses and they were the best fried ravioli we’ve ever had! St. Louis’s fried ravioli just doesn’t measure up… By the way, the accompanying marinara sauce was very nice too!
We ordered a large “New York Style” 16” pizza with sausage and pepperoni. This pizza is built to be picked up and folded to be eaten out of hand. The ingredients were all very good and the crust, especially in the center half of the pizza, was thin…the way we like it. FYI, we dined at Genovese's on a night when they had a special on large cheese pizzas, so with sausage and pepperoni added, it was only $12.99!
FYI...We also ordered a slice of Lemon Berry Cake to take with us. ($3.99) It was very good!
OK…there was a little too much crust away from the center of the pizza and we would have liked a spicy Italian sausage instead of the one they use, but this pizza is still at least tied for 2nd place for the best pizza we’ve had in East Tennessee! We will return...

This is a really great restaurant. The food is always wonderful. Hubby says their 'all you can eat' fish is some of the best fish he has ever eaten. Their chicken salad on a croissant sandwich is delicious as are their fries. We stop by every time we are in the area. Have even driven 3 hours from home just for lunch! Highly recommend.

Come in and enjoy any of your 3 meals or even a snack in-between! Beautiful golfing scenery, pleasant people to greet you and to help you. Check out our menu-we accept to go orders, and don't forget our new event add on. Music on the Fairways every Wednesday night through October. Music starts at 6:00-8:00pm under the Toqua Pavilion. There's a cash bar, food, room to dance or just sit and listen to live music!! Call the restaurant to find out who the entertainer will be or check our web site: tellicovillageyachtclub.com
Though Toqua Cafe is not open for dinner, it makes up for that by serving a great breakfast and lunch. In the seven years we've been eating there we have rarely had an issue.
The service is always outstanding and many of the servers have been there for the entire time we've lived here, which says a lot for their work environment.
The only issue we've had is that several times what we've ordered didn't arrive prepared as ordered. I tend to think this problem occurs in the kitchen since I've been shown the order check and it was correct. Regardless, no one wants to send an order back to be re-cooked while the other person either eats alone or waits and their meal gets cold.
Still, it's a great place to eat and we frequent it often. The manager, Kim, is quite possibly one of the most efficient and professional and pleasant restaurant managers we've ever known.

When there is a BBQ joint, we usually stop. This family-friendly restaurant did not disappoint. The smoked meat was tender and delicious. The service was efficient and pleasant. The menu was varied. I wasn't too hungry, so I ordered the loaded bake potato with chicken. I was tempted to place an additional order of the smoked chicken meat as it was very moist and flavorable.
