Mixing Bowl was recommended by Minerals and a few families staying here. We stopped in for Breakfast, instead of eating at Kites. Beautiful, fun exterior close to the hotel. Food was inexpensive and served fairly quickly. Kids were happy with the French toast and pancakes, although I didn't see a kids menu. I would NOT recommend the prime rib...it was a line fatty slice of meat under my eggs. Potatoes and eggs were good. Overall, it wasn't bad. $30 for 3 drinks and meals.

The place is busy, popular and energetic. We had our breakfast here. The customers were in and out, a stream of people on Saturday morning, Our sandwiches were tasty and prepared fast. This establishment functions very well, The staff is efficient and polite. It was a good experience!

Unbelievable homemade ice cream!!
This is a great local place for ice cream, Try the hand dipped ice creams, they are delicious! The soft ice cream is also very good. My wife and I go there at least once a week in the summers

I've been to the Lamp Post Inn on many occasions, dinner with friends, dinner with my wife, family gatherings, business lunches and community service organization meetings. I've never once been disappointed with food or service. Sal, the owner, and his crew do a fantastic job. I can't wait to go again!

This is a typical DQ offering inferior ice cream. Drive a few additional miles down the road to Dairy Swirl for some of the best ice cream you will ever have. It is homemade.

Blew my mind that I was served a decent flat white in an Ames! If you're craving Starbucks in the Warwick/Vernon area this is the only game in town.

This is the 4th time we've eaten bagel sandwiches at this bagel shop in Mt. Vernon, NJ and their standards are always high and consistent!!! Bagels are fresh, they don't skimp and they price is right!!! We blew off a free breakfast on my Birthday to eat here and did the same on my husband's birthday because we couldn't resist one more chance at a bagel sandwich here!!! People, you will be so glad you stopped in!!! And they truly make food with love and service with a smile :)

I've been coming here for years - mainly for baked goods for Christmas and for their great Norwegian coffee (Strong without acidity). Their baked goods are excellent, and the other food-stuffs they get from Scandinavia are consistently high quality, and they have some interesting Nordic gifts. You may need to order in advance for some items, since this is a really small operation (Think a Sep-Oct order for Nokkelost you want for the Holidays). Some people have apparently stopped coming here since a family death caused the place to be closed for a while. Maybe they think Nordic House closed for good, but it didn't! They are still baking like crazy! PLEASE give Nordic House your patronage! This is the best little corner of Scandinavia I know of in this area, and they need the business! I have no personal stake in this except that I don't look forward to the day Nordic House isn't here any more

When our friends suggested lets go to Wings my immediate thought was, no another chicken joint. My bad! This is a wonderfully decorated, calm environment with a very good Asian mix of fresh food. I had three different Tuna Rolls which were well constructed, generous Tuna and good rice. I tasted the sauce on the Shrimp and Broccoli and it hit the spot. Another of our group had a Chicken (not wings) dish which he enjoyed. The final of the four was; St. Patrick's, which caused a good laugh and wass also much enjoyed. Yes, the name is unusual and the location on Rt.94 hard to see but, the Wings Asian Fusion Bistro is a home run. We will be back.

Always enjoy going to Smokey's. It is close and they provide quality service. The staff is cordial and the manager seems to always be walking around and greeting customers. There is a good selection of food. I have enjoyed everything I have tried. I also appreciate that the are run on solar.
