Ventura, officially the City of San Buenaventura, is the county seat of Ventura County, California, United States. European explorers encountered a Chumash village, referred to as Shisholop, in Ventura while traveling along the Pacific coast. The eponymous Mission San Buenaventura was founded nearby in 1782 where it benefitted from the water of the Ventura River. The town grew around the mission compound and incorporated in 1866. The development of nearby oil fields in the 1920s and the age of automobile travel created a major real estate boom during which many designated landmark buildings were constructed. The mission and these buildings are at the center of a downtown that has become a cultural, retail, and residential district and visitor destination.

Granted, it's hard to mess up eggs but for a good breakfast place you need GOOD ATTITUDE. These folks have it down pat. Great wait staff, greeter, cashier, bussing troops, everybody is friendly, helpful, and just plain nice. The food is great, coffee is nothing to write home about-but who cares, can't be perfect.

Voted best fish taco in the county.
Service was exceptional for a ‘fast food’ place! The fish tacos were simply the best. One is a great lunch, 2 might be a gorge. I did the tempura fish, which was light & delish. The grilled looked great too. Go with Brooklyn style. The hot sauces are yum and you can buy them & take em home! This will be my hang out on taco Tuesday!!!
They also have beef tacos for your fish fussy friends. And beers~
There is usually a full house & sometimes a line, your patience WILL pay off!!!

Three in my group ate breakfast here during Christmas break. We arrive around 9:30 and got a table on the patio after a short wait. (The line was out the door when we left, so be prepared to wait).
The menu is quite broad and very interesting. We had Eggs Florentine, Eggs Benevilla, and a Relleno Omelette. All were excellent. We would order any of these three dishes again!

Excellent service, great food. Our son enjoyed this evening immensely. My husband didn't think he looked led Indian food, but found plenty of good choices.

Focusing on fresh, house made food along with specialty craft cocktails and beer. Casual atmosphere with friendly staff. Family friendly.
Nice place to meet with work colleagues. Large beer selection. Social Tap beers on the happy hour menu. Several appetizers also on the happy hour menu. I had the nachos and they were very good. This is my second visit. Likely not my last.

TripAdvisor said this was the place for an intimate dinner. They were correct. We got there early because we knew it was a popular place. We were seated at a booth almost immediately.
The service here is exemplary. Greeted immediately, water poured, bread delivered, server greets us. Drink orders are taken as we peruse the menu.
My wife & I shared an Italian chopped salad followed by a seafood risotto. Both were exceptionally well prepared and delivered quickly. Having saved plenty of room for dessert we both ordered one items. I had a caramel sundae while my wife had a mint chocolate bomb. The perfect end to a perfect evening.

Super convenient location right off the Hiway 101, multi level parking structure right next door, sits right on the base of the pier stretching out over the glistening Pacific Ocean! Take your parking stub in with you and they will validate it and presto...free parking! All outdoor seating at several picnic tables outside the walkup window restaurant or one can also sit in a somewhat sheltered but still outdoors area. This is a very casual place, and unfortunately due to the proximity to the freeway onramp the motorcycle noise was really pretty constant and loud. It was a Sunday at noon so that may have been why. It just added to the fun, right?! I had grilled shrimp tacos which were AMAZING. I ordered two which was just right for my female appetite. I also added in at 25 cents a side serving of avocado tomatillo dressing which was EXCELLENT! There was some sauce on the bottom of the taco but I always like more. My hubby had traditional beef crispy tacos which he said were fine, but I thought mine looked better! Suggestion: This restaurant is right on the pier so one can walk out to the end (it is a long pier!) and take in the really stunning views. It is also right on a paved sidewalk along the sand which was being enjoyed by many walkers and bicyclists. There are stairs to get up on the pier tho there may have been a ramp available which we did not notice. At the bottom of the stairs on the sand is a large and really nice children's playground which looked very enticing. We will definitely be back! Be sure and give this a try if you like tasty Mexican food. They had lots of choices and everyone dining around us seemed to be thoroughly enjoying theirs too!

Always a must stop when in the area. Great selection of kicked up bar food and a revolving selection of local brews on tap. Love to sit on the patio area and people watch and head inside when we want to be part of the clamour of the folks.
The service is friendly and expedited and we love their onion rings , fish tacos and great pizza. also BEER !

We bring the freshest and best seafood available in the world to your table! Known and loved for our hand battered fresh fish & chips, homemade clam chowder, views of the lively Ventura Harbor & voted year after year as the #1 fresh seafood market in Ventura, California.
Our family has been to Andria’s many times over the years and the quality has always been excellent. We typically get shrimp and chips and fish and chips. Their shrimp and fish are always fresh and hot. This last time we got a chowder bowl and we were not impressed with it. The clam chowder tasted more like a vegetable chowder, not at all what we expected.
