Came to town to visit my mother-in-law's brothers who I have never met and who my wife had not seen for a long time and we ended up having Sunday dinner at this fine establishment. A very popular spot for the locals and this visitor. The menu was great and the service spectacular. We really enjoyed. Breakfast all day if you like.

We ate at Flammerie the two nights we were in the Kinderhook area for Presidents' Day weekend. It was absolutely impressive and delicious. Connie, one of the owners, was so helpful and gracious in answering questions and making recommendations.
I've spent a bit of time in Germany and can vouch for the authenticity of Flammerie's high quality food.
Reservations seem to be mandatory. We had made a reservation for Saturday night well in advance, and while there on Saturday, we made a reservation for 5pm Sunday night. It seems that if you don't have a reservation in advance, you are pretty much out of luck OR you can try the 5pm slot which we prefer anyway.
Do not hesitate to book a meal here. The food, coupled with the genuine atmosphere, menu, and detailed/caring service by Connie, makes it a wonderful experience.
Thank you for being one of the highlights of our weekend!

Kinderhook is home to our eighth President, Martin Van Buren. It's a charming little town. The Broad Street Bagel Co. makes their own bagels. It's the place for lunch in town so we dropped in. I had a lunch special on an Everything bagel. Stupendous. Be hungry or split a sandwich. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The setting is comfortable. The food quality is very high. And the bathroom is very clean!

Locally made, good ingredients! I've given these desserts as gifts to family and clients. Everyone loves them.

This is a brand new venue in a very small, rural community. Although the location has been a deli for many years, it has been taken over by new owners, and has become a very rustic restaurant. There is seating for approximately 20 people at a long table, and it is very casual. The menu is quite extensive with a focus on sandwiches. The breakfast menu is extremely limited----a sandwich or a wrap, a bagel or yogurt with fruit. Partner and I selected the breakfast sandwich. It is served in a basket, came out very hot, had a lot of bacon on it, and was very tasty. We were most impressed with the free trade coffee (it was breakfast, after all!!), which came from Maine. Paper products are used----no styrofoam---Yay!! I will go again, but for lunch, as that menu is extremely varied and interesting!

Artisan Bakery, From Scratch Deli Meats; House-smoked Salmon & other meats; Delicious Middle Eastern Dishes (falafel, sabih, hummus, etc..); Craft Beers/Ciders; Spacious/Private Outdoor Seating
Our Daily Bread is the best place in Chatham to go to grab amazing and healthy breakfast and lunches. It is relatively cheap and almost everything on their menu is either gluten free, vegan, or made with all local products. I would recommend making a reservation because it can get pretty busy on the weekends.

We stopped for a drink on Saturday night. There were quite a few large parties going on however, the 3 male bartenders took care of everyone efficiently and with great conversation and drink suggestions. We didn't eat but there were other guests who ordered and the food looked and smelled delicious. Very nice place clean, friendly comfortable. Definitely a place to go back to.

I really don't want it to get around but this is a delightful spot. Food is always good and service just fine. Been coming here for 40 years through several owners and have always had a good time
I like the comfortable atmosphere especially
Please don't let this get around. I don't want to have to complete for a table and they don't take reservations

Family friendly restaurant serving fresh food with local ingredients. Fall/Winter hours are: Sunday thru Thursday 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Friday and Saturday 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
We were up in Chatham for the Mac-Haydn production of "Spamalot". We needed a before show dinner, and we chose the Chatham Grill. From the outside is nondescript, the inside is more welcoming but nothing special. It is the service and the food that really makes this place. It has a very nice menu and great choices of beers and drinks. The staff is very helpful and know their menu. The food is prepared for you and comes out of the kitchen hot and fresh. I had the meatloaf wrapped in bacon served with the best gravy and mashed potatoes ever. The vegetables are whatever is fresh and they are well prepared. My wife had the duck which was very well prepared, moist, crisp skin and not dried out in the least, delicious. This is a great place if you are in the area, prices are reasonable and the selection is excellent. You will be sorry you don't live closer to Chatham Grill.
