Global Cuisine: Classic Spanish, Italian, Mediterranean
This past Friday (Jan 5th) we tried Alicante for the first time. This restaurant is a hidden gem to those that live outside of the Mendon/Milford area. Highly recommend this venue.
We'll be back in the warmer weather to experience this fine restaurant outside...
It's worth the drive to the little town of Mendon.. You will not be disappointed

I like different breakfast meals, and try to get a specialty of the place, when I go there. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't. This time I won. They have a wide variety of "breakfast in a new way "dishes here. We both decided on...MoreThank you! Happy you enjoyed your breakfast! Hope to see you soon

Schooll St
Lindy's is a small but cute restaurant and bar with amazing food. Around a dozen bar stools, a few hightops and around 10 tables. The service is great, the staff is super friendly and efficient. You can have anything from burgers and sandwiches to salads, seafood and great specials like a traditional Turkey dinner. Awesome drink specials too. This is a place worth the wait for a table. Portions are large and everything we ordered was delicious. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Best donut shops around. Great people and great coffee. They don't call it jumbo donuts for nothing. The Northbridge shop has a grille menu also. No need to wait in crazy lines for "the other coffee" Also they are comparable in price and you get bigger and better...

Fried seafood is a guilty pleasure in my family. We have tasted some of the best from Ipswich to Narragansett. Who would think that a road side stand in the center of Massachusetts would have some of the best fried fish around? My husband and I often split a fisherman's platter. The onion rings and fries are perfect and the fish is never overcooked or dry. There is only outside seating, although there is a roofed enclosure. Who cares? We have been known to brave the elements and share a plate in our car!

We always order take out as the seating is very limited- maybe 3 or 4 tables. They are quick. The food is good and always hot. The dinners are good size for the price. The seating/waiting area could use a good cleaning. But, we have never had an issue with the food and neither do many others as there is always a line when we go. We love the #17 dinner and with that you get to pick 2 apps to go with it.

Been coming here for years, and have never had a bad experience. Their items are so fresh and there's just so much to choose from. The prices are so reasonable, too! I've bought cookie platters for parties, cupcakes for the kids, Boston Cream Pie for my Dad's birthday - which was hands-down the best we've ever tried.
You can taste the quality of the ingredients they use; it makes such a difference.
The servers are just so friendly and they can move a long line quickly.
Note if you order an almond croissant, it's not the same as the one with chocolate in it. Go for the chocolate almond one...if you like almond, it's fantastic.
They make their own ice cream and do specialty cakes.
Go early on a weekend morning because by 10 the lines are getting long.

Every year on the first Sunday in November when clocks are turned back one hour, antique car clubs from all over Southern New England cruise to Wright's Chicken Farm Restaurant filling up the back parking lot with dozens of Model T' Model T's and antique cars of all makes as well as later model muscle era cars and hot rods. Promptly at noon everyone files into the huge banquet facility for their reserved table seating to enjoy Wright's famous all-you-can-eat family style chicken dinner. The precision and efficiency of the servers and bussers is amazing and there is never a wait once your table is ready to be served. Although we reserved for 24 and 2 backed out at the last minute, there was no problem adjusting for our lesser number. Reservations for this function are for seating at least 10 but no more than 36. Pricing for the full course including coffee, pitchers of soda and the ice cream roll dessert including ta & tip was $18:30 pp. We look forward to this once yearly meal and gathering of automotive enthusiasts.

My husband and I recently got takeout. I had the Burger Melt- cheddar cheese, grilled mushrooms, tomato on rye bread and My hubby had the Grille Burger-cheddar cheese, spicy ketchup, romaine, tomato & onion. They were both very good- veggies were fresh and the burgers were cooked well. We also had a side of hand cut fries, my only issue was by the time we got the food home (about 8 min) the fries were soggy- the takeout packages need vents to prevent this. This place is clean and the staff is friendly. They offer many specialty burgers, including Veggie & Turkey Burgers, they also let you build your own burger. They also offer salads, all beef hot dogs, pizza pies, yummy sides like mac & cheese bites and a kids menu. The seating is very limited and the place is very clean. We will be back.
