The atmosphere is great. You get on line (there's always a line - but you can call ahead if you wish), order your sandwich and watch them throw the freshly cut deli meat around. The staff can be a little edgy if you don't pay attention and keep the line moving. There are about 5 people making sandwiches, so you have to move down in front of the person making yours. It is loud in there, but its part of the atmosphere. I had an Italian on my most recent visit and loved it.

Fireman Derek's serves all types of desserts and coffees. Specializing in sweet and savory pies, cheesecakes, and pastries. We have award winning Key Lime Pie made with fresh squeezed key limes! And we have our famous White Chocolate Guava Cookie.
If you are in Miami please stop Fireman Derek’s and try the crack pie. OMG is was so good! It is literally the best pie I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what’s in it but I don’t even care. It’s only street parking and the bakery is small but that’s okay. The pie makes up for all of that. I wasn’t a fan of the key lime pie. It was way to tart for me and I love key lime pie. However the crack pie makes up for the key lime pie. The prices are also very reasonable.

So we started with the Frittura Mista. The calamari was the best I’ve ever had because it had the lightest breading and was just the perfect texture. We followed that up with Ravioli Pane&Vino and Tagliatelle Paglia & Fieno. The homemade pasta and the creamy sauce made this the greatest meal we’ve had in ages.
This Italian restaurant is the best one we’ve both ever been to. You if you get a table, you have to try this out.

Really nice to have a restaurant live up to it's top rating. The gilled octopus was delicious. The Peruvian beef dish was very tasty as well. Great cocktails, The dessert, a Peruvian fruit ice cream in chocolate was to die for. The wait staff was top shelf from beginning to end. Can't wait to go back!! Kudos to owners and staff!!

Italian fine dining our way. Hosted by Beto DiCarlo, chef and 3rd generation restaurateur. Come join us for Italian traditional family recipes in a warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Excellent. The veal was superb. The pasta with porchini mushrooms was sublime. Our server, the owners son, was attentive and had great suggestions for our enjoyment. The complimentary chocolate mouse cake (his
Grandma’s recipe) was melt on your tongue delicious. We are Canadian and welcomed the opportunity to sit outside on the sidewalk patio with twinkle lights and charm. Reminded us of Italy in a small mountain top town. Don’t miss a chance to partake of this delightful “forget-I-am-in-Florida eatery. Just wow. We will be back.

Yardie Spice Restaurant offers quality authentic Jamaican & Haitian food daily from Monday to Saturday (closed Sundays). It is owned and managed by JP and his wife. JP is Haitian and his wife is from the island of Jamaica. The couple has being in food and beverage business for over thirty years. They are very proud to have a kitchen with no "microwave".
If you are looking for a fancy place this isn’t for you BUT if you like a small restaurant with great food this is it. The husband is the waiter and general all around guy while his wife does the cooking. We asked him for suggestions since we are not familiar with Jamaican/ Haitian cuisine and he was very nice and helpful with suggestions that gave us a taste of polenta, rice and beans, snapper and jerk chicken. It was all delicious! This is not a fancy place and it maybe could use a little sprucing up with place mats and glass drinking glasses rather than a plastic water bottle. The table we sat at was slightly sticky I am sure because of the frying in the kitchen....
