Cute little "shack" across from Mary Lake. Offers breakfast/lunch. Large servings, reasonable prices. Yummy food!
This diner-like place was crowded on a Saturday morning. The locals eat here. The corned beef hash and eggs were excellent. I also tried the turkey/cheese sandwich. which was good. The people-watching is also fun; the cooks at the grill work very hard.
The prices are reasonable This is an experience in Twin Lakes worth trying.

I adore the fresh-baked cookies and eclairs here. We also get morning coffee here with donuts and rolls. It is locally owned and operated. Small bakeries this great are getting hard to find. They also serve soups and light sandwiches. This is a real gem in downtown Twin Lakes!

We are located on the shore of Lake Elizabeth, complete with a public boat launch and parking. We feature a variety of fresh seafood and amazing Angus beef entrees. Weekends have fresh shucked oysters and garlic steamed mussels, while supplies last. Reservations are welcomed but not necessary. Kid friendly environment complete with a treasure toy chest for all the little ones.
I was not expecting the food or service to be this good. Upscale type menu at reasonable pricing. Variety of fish on the menu, gluten free bread which was the best I've had, quick turn around on orders - all impressive.
Staff was quick and kind. There was a mix up when I signed in and jasmine took care of it right away and did a great job.
I am going back tonight.

We visited Mad Dan's with friends on a Wednesday evening. The waitress was very friendly and quick to take out order. I ordered the fried chicken, fried fish, fired shrimp and ribs combo. The chicken was excellent; Freshly fried and cooked just right. The fish was a nice thick filet that was also cooked well and tasted good. The ribs and shrimp were another story. I actually removed the batter coating on the shrimp because it was so thick. The ribs were overlooked and over sauced. I ordered potato pancakes as my side. They did not have much flavor. My wife ordered the steak. It was very good.

The Red Barn restaurant family at Twin Lakes Country Club extends you a warm welcome. We take pride in providing an enjoyable dining experience with delicious food, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere.
I have eaten here for many years and is always great. Tuesdays they offer a Mexican Night with specials as well as fantastic Taco's. Friday night is their famous Fish Fry and Saturdays is Prime Rib plus other specials. If ever looking for a banquet venue they have a beautiful outdoor covered pavilion with excellent offerings. Weddings in the Spring, Summer and early Fall are wonderful. It is worth a call to schedule a consultation to see what they can do.

The all-you-can-eat fish fry is spectacular, potato pancakes not as good as they used to be but still some of the best I've had. Dad had the all-you-can-eat shrimp very tasty (I sampled a few).
Also have had their fantastic pizza and can't wait to work my way thru the rest of the menu. It's one of those restaurants where you watch every plate go by and wish you had ordered that instead.

Finally, a Mexican restaurant came to Twin Lakes and opened this past week. Out of curiosity, my family had to try it out and we were not disappointed. The menu is very extensive and offers many choices from different categories from Appetizers to sandwiches, tacos, Fajitas, Chef specials and much more. They also offer breakfast items as well. Upon being shown to a table we were served with homemade tortilla chips and three varieties of home made salsa. We ordered a home made guacamole dip to the mix. We thoroughly enjoyed all four. I had the Chicken Burrito meal and the could have just ordered the burrito alone as the meal adds refried beans and Spanish rice. The Burrito is self was big enough for two but it was flavorful and went down fast. My wife had the Chimichanga, while my daughter had the taco, and my son in law had the Fajita Combination with Steak, Chicken, and Shrimp. Food was plentiful and those that could not finish, took some home. We are looking forward to a return trip so we can try other things on the menu. They are open everyday starting at 10 am.

We were a little cautious about stopping here but everything was good and prices were all under 10.00 for most meals etc but a lot less than that. The menu has everything you could want from breakfast, lunch or dinner. The service was good and place was clean inside and out. The parking is on either side and entrance in the middle. We will be back when passing through town.

What a cool little place in the middle of Twin Lakes. They have a Friday fish fry as well as super sandwiches including authentic Chicago Style hot dogs with all the fixings. The hot beef was very good but the hamburger was very average. Very cool decor and you can eat outside when its nice. Enjoy!

they say a sports bar right? I seen nothing of sports just trivia over the tube, yes i got a sign on for the service but i forgot it now. If you drink its a good place to drink and get a place for the night to "crash" at and there is one or two other places to drink nearby and a place for breakfast in the morning too. the only reason i give it a Very good rating is that you can get a place for the night if needed for you to crash out at!!
