Arrived in Twin Falls a little past the dinner hour and after checking in at our hotel, we called to see if a table was available. There was, and so we drove right over. When we arrived, we waited a few minutes because the hostess said a nicer table had just opened and she would have it quickly cleared and set. We were seated at a comfy booth and immediately served water.
Our waitress promptly came to take our drink order and answer any questions about the menu. I ordered the Ruby Trout, a boneless fillet with coconut jasmine rice and a salad with walnut vinaigrette (something a little different). My husband ordered the quail (again a little unusual) with garlic mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad. The food was fresh, good quality, nicely prepared and came with warm rolls and a cinnamon butter. For dessert my husband ordered the apple blueberry crisp with vanilla ice cream.
I was impressed with the customer service of the wait staff. They frequently came to check and see how the food tasted and if here was anything you needed. I appreciated hearing grammatically correct English spoken such as “May I take that plate?” or “Pardon my reach” as water was being poured.
The price was appropriate to the type of food served and the amount. I only wished I could see the view but it was too dark.

All the food at the Buffalo is awesome, from the oatmeal to the omelets, you can't go wrong. Make sure you don't miss out on their jelly and jam selections!

Although the many workers there are motivated and appear to be Mexican. The food was terrible. They forgot the guacamole that was supposed to come on the tacos. When i mentioned this they retrieved a teaspoon from the kitchen. I should have taken a picture. An old looking not fresh tomato salsa came on top which made the tortillas soggy. There was barely any cheese on the beans. It is as if we were being fed rations in the war The margueritas did not have prices on them. I inquired and was told a price range. So i got specific. Ordered the one that was 8.75 and then got charged 9.95
I don’t mind paying for a drink but i do like to know the price before i buy so i don’t get surprised when the bill came. The salsa isnt even think. It has a watery consistency There has to be better Mexican than this!

We had heard great things about Idaho Joe's breakfast buffet and decided to see what all the hype was about. We generally have breakfast at Norm's or the Buffalo Club however Idaho Joe's has made our list. It is a hometown, locals, straight up Idaho restaurant. The buffet offers so many protein/ meats we were very impressed! The quality of the foods at this Buffet is above average. However it is the sheer amount of proteins/meats available that make this a great buffet. Now we have a new option while in Twin Falls for breakfast!

My daughter and I split a pulled pork sandwich and it was really yummy. The weather was perfect and we sat at one of the outside tables under the covered area. You better like rap music because that is the only genre they played while...MoreThank you for coming in as far as the rap music that is a rarity, perhaps it was the eclipse. Gotta mix it up some time. Again thank you for your support.

Situated on Idaho's beautiful Snake River Canyon, Canyon Crest overlooks a breathtaking vista of golf courses, parks and the Snake River. While you may come to Canyon Crest for the view alone, don't miss out on Magic Valley's most palate-pleasing dishes. Our menu is sure to satisfy your culinary desire, while the patio and lounge offer spectacular views. It is the perfect place to unwind with friends and colleagues. We offer a memorable dining experience in an unforgettable atmosphere.
We are foodies, just relocated from Los Angeles and eager to try out local fine restaurants.
In LA we routinely seeked out sampling menus with wine & cheese pairing in fine restaurants as well as ethnic hole-in-the-wall restaurants per Jonathan Gold, the famed Food Columnist weekly recommendations in the LA Times Food Section. (We did the same too in our frequent trips to Europe and Asia referring to Michelin Star Guides and had many memorable meals thus).
So with much anticipation we attended the 10.18.2017 Canyon Crest 3-course dinners with wine pairing. We understood from their website that it starts at 6pm. We got there at 5.45pm. but was surprised that the welcome wine mixer starts at 7pm. Dinner will be served at 7.30pm. We expressed annoyance at the misinformation on their website. The host suggested we start with drinks at the bar while waiting. That was a problem for us because I'm allergic to alcohol and will have to forgo the wine-pairing at dinner in the first place. Not much fun for my spouse to be drinking by himself for an hour before dinner. So we ordered 2 appetizers from the Bar Grub Menu to kill time.
The quick fried Calamari with citrus cocktail sauce, garnished with candied orange was decent. The bed of deep fried spinach it was served on was not as palatable, being somewhat greasy. The seared Ahi Tuna with julienned radish, carrots and cucumber and sweet chilli glaze was quite delicious.
The first course was amber beer and white cheese broccoli soup. The soup got cold waiting for the Ghost Pines representative's lengthy introduction about the background of the winery etc. etc. The 2nd course was Fall Marinara Turkey Oregano Meatballs on a bed of rice noodles in acorn squash sauce. That too was cold by the time the winery rep. finished talking about the wine pairing with it before we could start eating. The meatball was overdone and dry, salty, the rice noodles cold, starchy and soggy, the baby watercress garnish limp and old. The 3rd course was Kettle chips, chopped nuts & cornflakes encrusted fish with candied lemon tartar sauce, paired with Chardonnay. The fish was dry, the coating hard. Notice the same wilted baby watercress and sprouts garnish as in the 2 previous courses. Why the lack of distinctive contrast in cooking methods imparting different sensations in texture, to tickle diners taste-buds? Why not vary the color, choice of garnishes to appeal to the visual senses in plating of the food in the different courses. My husband said all the 3 wine pairing that came with the food was ho-hum also.

We went to this place on our drive home and needed a place to eat. It's got great food and really great service. I would recommend it. I had the Koufax Killer, which I hope was named as a compliment because I'm a Dodger fan haha. It was fantastic. Try the sweet potato fries too, they are great.

We offer a casual 50's 60's diner with a Hotrod memorabilia theme. Gourmet burgers and creative sandwiches along with homemade soups, milkshakes and creative daily specials.
We had a large group for breakfast and they served up an incredible meal. Completely full of customers, but service fast, friendly, and good. Wide variety of breakfast items, with the right combination of spices, meats, eggs, and spuds. Don't let the hot rod motif fool you, this is good eats.

Stopped in while traveling for coffee and wish we could have stayed for a meal. We did get the baklava and were treated to a complimentary wafer cookie. Very delicious.
They have taken a very mundane location and created a warm and interesting place to talk and enjoy.
