Stopped here with my family after a visit to the Wild Walk. We weren't disappointed with the food or the portions, and enjoyed both! Does NOT take credit cards, make sure to bring cash!

When we saw the sign for black raspberry ice cream we had to stop. You rarely find this flavor in soft serve. They serve it by itself or twisted with vanilla ice cream. Both were delicious. They had seating under a tent to keep you cool or various chairs on the lawn. It is worth a stop if you are in the neighborhood.

We've visited here three Septembers in a row. The beer is always fantastic and the atmosphere is fun and festive. Their big new outdoor pavilion provides much-needed space. Though we haven't tried the onsite food truck, we've heard from many that it's very good. Make sure to stop here!

Big Tupper Brewing is an Adirondack Pub offering great beer and comfort food in a relaxed and inviting family-friendly setting that celebrates the area's history. We offer indoor and outdoor seating.
We highly recommend Big Tupper Brewing. The food was fantastic and so is the beer! Tara knows just what we like and we love coming in and seeing her smiling face! :) my favorite beer is the Summer Ale, can’t wait for that to come back, but we got to try the Pumpkin Ale tonight that was good. Make sure you check out the men’s room! :)

Back again with the refurbishment of Park Street in "upper" Tupper Lake, Reandeau's (or Swiss Kitchen, whatever you want to call it) is offering tasty home cooked food in abundant portions at a reasonable price. They don't take credit cards, though, which makes a problem for travelers. This easy-to-find restaurant is popular with locals.

Found this place in Tupper Lake while camping at nearby Fish Creek Pond based on Trip Advisor reviews....otherwise would have driven right past it-it doesn't stand out. On Sunday around 5 there were only a few people there . Very friendly good service , good burgers and reubens and good atmosphere for family and kids. Live music added to the experience. Will come again when we camp in the area!

We are not a "fast food" restaurant. Each order receives our patient attention. Our meals are individually prepared from scratch ingredients", we use few convenience foods. Donna and Victor, the owners, bake all the bread, burger buns and deserts from scratch, this takes time but it helps us assure a high level of quality in our meals. The Pine Grove Restaurant also features a nicely stocked bar featuring several micro brews some of which are only available locally. Be sure to ask for the limited quantity wine list featuring local and distant selections.
While staying in Tupper Lake we stopped at the Pine Grove for dinner one night. What a quaint little restaurant! The waitress was very nice and friendly and our meals were delicious. We normally don't order dessert with our meals, but when my husband saw pumpkin pie on the menu he just couldn't resist. His slice was huge and came with a nice amount of whipped cream on top. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the area.

"One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever we are doing and devote our attention to eating" - Luciano Pavarotti
A grilled chicken sandwich was ordered to go. After waiting for 20 minutes (no other customers were in the building) It arrived on a hamburger bun and looked like something you would get at Burger King. The cost was $11.95 so the prices were very high for the sandwich presented. The chicken was raw on the inside. We returned to Amado's, received no apology and had to wait while they prepared a new sandwich which they acted like they were doing us a favor although they did not disagree that the chicken was uncooked inside. You would think they would have gone out of their way to correct this wrong. Very expensive, sub quality food
